In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Two such great gems of Indian alleys, Lakshay Mohan and Ayush Mohan are taking Indian heritage and culture to new heights. Both brothers playing sitar and sarod, hailing from the Maihar Gharana are well-known amongst the music fraternity and art connoisseurs. The duo is famous worldwide and are the first Indians to be invited to perform at The Grammy Museum, Los Angeles.

Sattviko is India's fastest growing food company. But this journey was no cakewalk for Prasoon and his friend Ankush. It took two business ventures that they had to abandon mid-way before they hit upon a winning formula. Meanwhile, Prasoon went on a self-discovery journey, travelling mostly by road all across the country, to 28 states and even to remote areas.

Sagar Vishnoi

Sagar Vishnoi is the founder of a do tank called Citizen's Association for Democracy & Governance which work towards strengthening citizen's rights by providing innovative models of democracy & governance by replacing existing systems with new mechanisms. His Current Project is Janmat: developing blockchain technology for politics for free fair election reforms and pushing the idea of liquid democracy. A political campaigner and analyst, Sagar's key experience lies in political communications. He studied digital strategy from Columbia B-School as executive education. Sagar holds extensive experience in the digital media space having developed and executed the digital media strategy for various organizations and executed 60+ campaigns having outreach of more than 20 crores.

Shinjini Kulkarni

Kathak dancer Shinjini Kulkarni is the granddaughter of Kathak Maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj ji. She is the ninth generation from Kalka Bindadin lineage. She began her training in Kathak dance at the age of five under the tutelage of her grandfather. She began performing at the age of eight, and has ever since been exploring her passion for dance. While excelling in her studies, she has also continued her training with utmost dedication and sincerity.

Yaseen Anwer

Mr. Yaseen Anwer is an Indian multilingual poet who writes in English, Hindi and Urdu. He is the founder of "Kaafiya - The Poetry Festival" and Poets Corner Group . Mr. Anwer's work has appeared in more than 80 national and international magazines and journals. He has been awarded the title of Young Poet in 2012 by the Indian Poetry Society. His poems have been translated into Chinese, Portugese, Hindi, etc. Mr. Anwer started reading and writing poetry at the early age of 14 getting inspired by poems of Rabindranath Tagore and Mirza Ghalib. He strongly feels emotion holds power beyond human understanding and he says emotion appears best when arranged in the form of poetry.
