In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ihor is neurosurgeon, an expert in the treatment of the brain and the spine. He has served as military neurosurgeon for six months in the ATO area. Ihor is founder of the learning communities Saturday Brain and Spine Club.

Malek Tohme

Malek is Ukrainian entrepreneur (restaurant business) and founder of the first HRS Modernists public organization in Ukraine, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of scientific skepticism.

Mykola Maksymenko

Mykola used to be the researcher, but entered the IT field, where he works in projects related to artificial intelligence and human-machine interaction.

Nikita Shulga

Nikita is homeschooler, co-founder of the project Compola (composting organic waste of Ukrainian schools) and winner of the international ecological competition Eco Hero Awards.

Oleh Lukanyuk

Oleh walked out from his life in Lviv to find the place, where he belongs. He is co-owner of four successful businesses Lviv gingerbread manufacture “Yurashky”, the network of souvenir shops in Lviv, Machka toys, woolen products manufacture Gushka). He also founded social space “Didova Hatchyna” (Granpa’s Hut), the unique place, lost in mountains where you can feel how hutsuls live. And while locals and tourists wonder when will “Didova Hatchyna” become profitable, Oleh just smiles. Because he found the place he belongs, the place where he feels happiness and he decided to share this place with anyone.
