Ms Enfa Rose George, a 20-year-old engineering student has a long list of achievements under her name. She is the founder of PEHIA, a gender diverse organisation that trains budding developers in IT. PEHIA was nominated for the Asianet Sthree Shakthi Awards 2018.
She is also an active writer and blogger. She is actively involved in reducing the gender gap in the IT industry and has been associated with programs for the upliftment of transgenders. Her aim is to make the coding world more accessible for girls and improve their technological competency.
Nindya Miesye Agita Pasaribu
A prominent Indonesian figure in advocating the involvement of youth in social change, Agita has represented Indonesia in the International Young Women's Summit in Munich, UNFPA-Global Youth Forum and Asia Pacific Week at Australian National University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Law from Universitas Indonesia and is doing her Master's in International Relations-ASEAN Studies at the University of Malaya. She was also awarded the Hansen Summer Institute fellowship from the University of San Diego and worked closely with the UN-IGF and Council of Europe on Youth and Democracy at Tac - Together against Cybercrime International. She was selected as the South East Asian Young Leader for the IISS-Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore and as the Indonesian delegate to the Nudge Global Impact challenge in Amsterdam.
