Ben Channon

Ben is an Associate and Mental Wellbeing Ambassador at Assael Architecture, chair of the Architects’ Mental Wellbeing Forum, and author of ‘Happy by Design: A Guide to Architecture and Mental Wellbeing’. He studied architecture at Cardiff University from 2007-2012.

A Health and Care Research Wales Fellow working in the Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI). My fellowship is focused on exploring computerised cognitive training (brain training) for people with Huntington's disease.

Guto Harri

After completing a MA in Broadcast Journalism at Cardiff, Guto Harri spent 18 years at the BBC, before leaving his post as Chief Political Correspondent to become Director of External Affairs for Boris Johnson, then Mayor of London. He went on to work as Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs for NewsUK and Managing Director of External Communications at Liberty Global, one of the world’s largest media companies.

Josh Davies

Nanoscientist and a scientific communicator
Josh Davies is a Nanoscientist and a scientific communicator, who enjoys taking the complex ideas of science and making them understandable to anyone. Josh Is studying his PhD at Cardiff University in partnership with cotton-mutton diagnostic. His work looks at the growth of nanoparticles and the effect their shape has upon their optical properties with a focus on magneto-optical diagnosis. Since starting his PhD Josh has won numerous prizes for his talks including winning the Cardiff Three Minute Thesis competition and reaching the final of the enriching student life awards as best postgraduate tutor.
