In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Everyone can be a Changemaker - Special Needs with Big Dreams Andre (26) was born with multiple health problems, including ADHD, autistic spectrum, cerebral palsy and mental retardation. After finishing high school for special needs, he initiated a home schooling program for underprivileged children around the neighbourhood and an intervention center for the developmentally delayed. He loves to share his story and life journey in front of the audience, however, he usually have his speech pre memorized.

Graduated from the University of Atma Jaya (Jakarta) with a degree in economics, she has over 23 years of experience in different business related fields, including Sales (Agency, DM/TM, Bancaasurance), Training and Recruitment, Marketing, Operation, and Strategic initiatives Project.

Gabriella Hattari is a sixteen-year-old, social entrepreneur. She started the creation of an online business named Woke Human, hoping to create a big impact on the society. In Indonesia, Gabriella finds it hard to be heard when you're speaking your opinions on social issues unless you're an actual well-known figure or a politician. She wants to voice out her good cause through other ways, particularly through forms of arts, such as clothes, pins, stickers and other merchandises. By starting Woke Human, she hopes to target the kids of today and hopes to educate the younger generation on gender equality, racial equality, inclusivity, and others. After all, we the youth, are the future of our society and our country.

As a professional teacher with 25 years of experience, her reflective practice enables her to perpetually shape the direction of classroom experiences that are focused on how the mind of Gen Zers work and how to engage them in meaningful learning.

Born in June 22 2004, Kafin Sulthan is a young Indonesian Musician that is known for his musical talents and roles in the Laskar Pelangi Musical and "Di atas rata-rata 2". His musical career started at quite a young age when we was chosen to have an act at the "Laskar Pelangi" Musical. It was the time when Kafin had an understanding on how the music industry work. He encountered a lot of challenges, however, he managed to strive through it with his dedication to music. He was able to achieve several awards, including the AMI award in 2013, and collaborate with international artists such as David Foster.

Prigi Arisandi

Founder & Director of Ecoton
Save Rivers from Diapers Prigi Arisandi is a river and wet ecosystems Conservation Activist and the Founder & Director of Ecoton, an organization that is dedicated to address the serious water pollution issue of the Surabaya River. As a child, Prigi had his happiest moments playing and swimming by the river, which was clean and filled with life back then. However, as Prigi became an adult, he felt extremely concerned towards the critically polluted condition of the river that he once grew up in. With Ecoton, Prigi was able to reach out to the local children of the community who live alongside the river banks and educate them about the possible solutions that can be offered to restore the vitality of the Surabaya River. Because of his efforts, he achieved several awards, one of them being the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2011.
