He is the first Indian to finish the Race Across America in 11 days and 10 hours, and the first Indian to complete Race Across Austria in 5 days and 10 hours. Presently, he is serving in the Indian Army as an Aviation Medicine Specialist.

They call themselves the FreeFlow. Guitarist, Uday Talwar, has learnt western classical. On the keys they have Sashank, who has been professionally playing since he was 16, on the Cajon, Soumadeep Basu, who is a multi intrusmentalist. Playing the tabla is Anirudh Sharma CA who has been playing tabla since the age of 7. The vocalist of the band is Shriya Barpanda who sings both carnatic and Western.
