Florence Kayemba

Florence Kayemba is a journalist, development communications specialist, program manager and researcher on security issues. Her primary interests are in preventing and countering violent extremism, terrorism and mass atrocities, which also include processes of disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR), transitional justice, children and armed conflict and also security sector reforms in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. She is a Harvard -trained leader and organiser with close to 20 years professional experience in the media and development sector in East and West Africa. Florence is currently the Programme Manager at Stakeholder Democracy Network (SDN), an international non-profit organisation with offices in London and Port Harcourt. She holds an MSc in Security, Conflict and International Development from the University of Leicester.

Ogranya Jable Osai

Architect/ Songwriter, Singer.
Ogranya Jable Osai is an artiste and architect from Rivers State, Nigeria. Born and bred in the city of Port Harcourt, he was influenced a great deal by his father's collection of music from the 70's but was inspired to go into music by more recent acts like Duncan Mighty, John Mayer & Efya. Ogranya officially started making music in 2014 after getting a degree in Architecture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology in Ghana. He is a firm believer in the idea that anything that can be mentioned in conversation or dialogue can be sung in song. As to him, every word possesses an accompanying set of sounds depending on who's saying or making it. Folklore hence, "Music is in everyone!" Lol In his creative plight, he wishes to be of service to the psychological and infrastructural evolution of his immediate society.

Omolara Itunu Oriye

Lawyer/ Human Rights Activist.
She is a human rights lawyer and advocate, feminist, writer and documentary photographer and is passionate about Human Rights, Equality, Diversity and a functional Nigeria. She is currently running a self-funded research on Nigeria's history, its people and problems and has recently completed a tour of Eastern Nigeria. Her writing consists of academic papers, narrative non-fiction, and travel journaling. In the last few years, she has managed a project called the Leadership Development Program that seeks to build new activists in Anglophone Africa.. She has worked as a Litigation Lawyer on Human Rights issues and currently does Human Rights Strategy, Grassroots Engagement and Policy Advocacy.She works as the Director of Human Rights and Advocacy at The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs), sits on the Board of iamvocal.org,an organization working towards overhauling how grassroots view of social issues and politics She runs a social impact organization called For Citizens By Citizens.

Prof. Ebiegberi Joe Alagoa

Professor Emeritus of History, Archivist.
Prof, E.J Alagoa, Nigerian historian, obtained his first degree in history in 1959 from the University College, Ibadan and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin, in 1965.He holds certificates in African History and in Archives Administration. Administrative positions held include Archivist, National Archives of Nigeria, Ibadan, 1959-1960; Archivist-in-Charge,National Archives,Enugu, 1960-1961;Acting Senior Archivist-in-Charge, National Archives Kaduna,1961-1962.He taught African History at the University of Lagos, became Director,Centre of Cultural Studies and also tutoring became a Research Fellow in Oral Traditional History, Institute of African Studies (IAS),University of Ibadan.He organized archaeological surveys of specific areas in the Niger Delta,places which Oral Traditions had indicated as previous settlement areas of the Ijo people because of his special interest in the past of his people. The result of these surveys has Prof. publishing almost 30 books.

Dr. Barz is a versatile styled artiste whose music is centred on pressing world issues and is keen on delivering valuable and timeless evergreen music. He is currently signed under the music label Kpor Well Inc. Born "Victor Akpomon" of Edo parents, is a Port Harcourt bred African music artiste. He is also a TV host, actor, a graduate of Microbiology and an entrepreneur. During the course of his music journey, he has graced big stages nationwide and appeared on international television programmes on CNN, TraceTV etc.

A lawyer with combined experience in public service, private legal practice, consulting and development advocacy.A partner of Ntephe, Smith and Wills law firm and maintains a strong interest in public governance and development issues. Currently the President of the Ijaw Professionals Association and Legal Adviser of the Nembe Congress, he worked with the management of the Niger Delta Development Commission for almost a decade, as S.A to the Managing Director (earlier on Executive Director, Finance and Administration).He has served as Comm. for Environment in Bayelsa State after a 2 year stint as Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment.He's co-Convener of G24 Embasara Foundation,dedicated to the improvement of public governance, leadership and conscientious citizenship, with Bayelsa State for a start.Still in it's formative stage,they have worked with other concerned bodies to develop a draft Code of Ethics, Leadership and Governance.
