In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Chaewon Yu

IIHS Student
Chaewon Yu lives in Songdo, in Incheon, South Korea. She is currently attending Incheon International High School, studying hard to become a corporate social contribution consultant. An avid believer in the power of ideas, she works to change the world for the better by spreading her ideas to those who will listen.

Heechun Lee

Heechun Lee was born in Cheongju, South Korea. He is a student in Incheon International High School. During high school, he participated in many sports activities, and started taking interest in the sports culture in Korea. He felt the importance of a sports culture in Korea, and strives for the positive growth of Korean sports cultures.

Jeongeun An

IIHS Student
Jeongeun An was born in South Korea, in 2002. She was a rebellious child since she was born. To her, who was free-spirited, the subject of rebellion was mainly the rule that suppressed her. Then, in 2016, a crime of misogyny occurred in Korea. Since that day, she decided to turn her focus of rebellion to the society that continues to oppress women. Her current dream is to make all the world a feminist.

Jinho Myoung

Jinho Myoung was born in Incheon, South Korea. He is currently a sophomore at Incheon International High School. He is interested in society as a whole, so he is exploring various fields of social science. Reading a book called “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck” by Mark Manson in 2018, he realized that society is not only split into two groups, high and low. he want to break people's stereotypes by talking about ambiguity. Today, he dreams of becoming a sociologist who emphasizes ' ambiguity ' and works to make people happier.

MinJae So

IIHS Student
MinJae So was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 2002. He was mischievous as a child, causing a lot of trouble with the others. Having experienced conflicts with others because of their differing opinions, he always attempted to avoid prosaism. Eventually, he realized the importance of being able to show others new and different perspectives. He still works towards this goal, doing his best to diversify everyone's views.

Minwoo Kim

Kim Minwoo was born in Seoul, South Korea. He later moved to Incheon in 2005. He lived the life of a ordinary student until he watched the TV program 'Sixteen'. The TV program gave him the dream of becoming an 'Entertainment Marketer'. Today, he is a passionate otaku of TWICE.

Shin DaEun

Da-Eun Shin was born in Incheon, South Korea. She was a timid but normal student until she went to Australia when she was 12 years old. She lived in Australia for about 1 year. After coming back to Korea, she became interested in the global community, so she applied to Incheon International High School. She continues to work hard to view the world from different perspectives, the results of which she strives to share with others

Yechan Lee

IIHS Student
Yechan Lee was born in Incheon, South Korea. He is a student at Incheon International High School. During high school, he made lots of friends who are girls, which prompted him to try and understand the gender discrimination they feel. Now he is a feminist, actively working towards gender equality.
