In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anvi Tuteja

Anvi Tuteja is a precocious eleven year old who studies in Grade 6. She is voracious reader and a self-professed Harry Potter fanatic who claims to have found plot errors in the Harry Potter series. She is a technology enthusiast, who is currently working on her first manuscript for a fiction trilogy set in the cyber world. She wants to grow up to be an inventor-mathematician, with an interest in geology, who is a qualified lawyer and moonlights as a Lego brick designer.

Bharti Gupta Ramola

Bharti Gupta Ramola was the India Market Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and a member of the India Leadership Team. In her personal capacity, Bharti serves on the boards of BASIX and Srijan, two of India’s foremost organisations promoting livelihood development. Bharti has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Hons) Physics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.

Olga Chepelianskaia

Olga Chepelianskaia is founder of UNICITI provider of Consultancy services to international organizations, multinational companies and NGO in the fields of climate resilient urban development and clean energy. She worked for the French government and the United Nations facilitating clean energy market formation in several Asian & European countries. She has worked with prominentinternational organizations such as ADB, CDIA, Rockefeller Foundation, UNECE, UNEP, UNESCAP, UNDP and with NGOs such as AEEE, FORCE, Hazard Centre and Sharp Developments. She is also a certified Kathak dancer and choreographer.

Purvesh Sharma

Purvesh Sharma, currently COO at Footprints Childcare, a chain of International Standard Full Day Childcare Centres, which he co-founded in 2012. He is an IIT-Delhi Alumnus and worked in SAP Labs and Landmark for initial 2 years.Then, he co-Founded and led the company Whizlabs Software from scratch to market leader in IT Certification exam preparation. He as Chief Marketing and Communication Officer at BrickRed Technologies contributed in setting up and managing various models of lead generation and nurturing like Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Pay Per Click and Telemarketing.

Sachin Chaturvedi

Professor Sachin Chaturvedi, currently Director General, RIS, a New Delhi based autonomous policy research institute. He is Global Justice Fellow at the MacMillan Centre for International Affairs at Yale University. He served as a Visiting Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He has worked as consultant to the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation, World Bank, UN-ESCAP, UNESCO, OECD, the Commonwealth Secretariat, IUCN, and to the Government of India’s Department of Biotechnology and the Ministry of Environment and Forests, among other organizations. He has also been a member of the IGSAC Committee of Experts for evolving a framework for cooperation on conservation of biodiversity in the SAARC region.

Samir Cairae

Samir Cairae, an alumnus of HEC Paris and IIT-Kanpur, is the current CEO of Diversified Metals (India) at Vedanta Resources and handles revenues of $5+ Billion. He previously held a top management global corporate position in Europe with Lafarge. He has held CXO roles in Lafarge & Schlumberger and built and led strong multicultural leaders and teams, in North America, Europe, Asia & MEA.

Siddharth Lal

An entrepreneur, Siddharth launched his own company Bruce Clay India after years of working as a top sales partner for a leading Telco in Australia. With his internet marketing knowledge and SEO skills, Siddharth led his company to gross over $15 million in online sales for their channel partners. He was named one of India’s Top 100 Digital Marketers (2017) on the Pluralsight Digi100 List by Paul Writer. He has also featured as an advisor and mentor on the TV series "UNICORNS – Start-Ups of the Internet" by NDTV Profit/Prime, November 2015 to May 2016. In 2014, he received the Most Talented Social Media Professional in India award by CMO Asia at the sixth edition of the Global Youth Marketing Forum.

Vanashree Rao

Vanashree Rao, an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College University of Delhi is a renowned Kuchipudi dancer and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee. She is the wife of Padma Sri Guru Jayarama Rao. They are one of the most celebrated couple of this art form, have dedicated their lives to the study and practice of Kuchipudi dance. As outstanding artists of the ICCR, they have performed in almost all major national and international festivals and in over 60 countries, including USA, Europe, India, Latin America, etc. She started her ethnic clothes line designer labeled Angikam with a cozy studio near Aurobindo Marg which houses antique artefacts amid her collection of Kalamkari saris, blouses, shawls and kurtas.

Vivek Mehra

Vivek Mehra is Managing Director and CEO at SAGE Publications India Pvt. Ltd. He is on the committee for CII and FICCI on IPR & Copyright and has been the Vice President at Association of Publisher in India. Vivek has an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University, a B.Sc. in Textile Technology from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. University of London has awarded him a PG Diploma and certificate in Intellectual Property Law. Vivek is also the visiting faculty at Ambedkar University New Delhi and is also mentoring a startup at EDUGILD- an accelerator with focus on EdTech in a bid to give back to the society.
