Yes actually. Power-up items are programmed into games and sometimes require a player to overcome a challenge, such as winning a difficult fight with an enemy or solving a complicated puzzle, in order to achieve the benefit.
Similarly, the theme of this TEDx event will strive to inculcate the messages with an aim to convey, what will benefit all of us and prepare us for the upcoming challenges and obstacles in life

With over 24 years of experience in HR-management, event organisation, operations, capability development, organisational development and transition management Lawrence Lim has successfully led the Singapore Artillery Formation in organizing the State Funeral Procession (in March 2015) for Singapore's founding prime minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, orchestrated the Opening&Closing Ceremonies of the 28th SEA Games in Singapore. Lawrence has deep operational experience developed from working with consultants, institutions and governments from all over the world. Besides winning the Leading CEO Award from the Singapore Human Resources Institute in September 2014, Singapore Defence Technology Prize in 2006 for successfully developing and operationalising, for SAF , the world's first heli-portable 155mm lightweight howitzer, the Pegasus. Lawrence retired from the SAF as the Chief of Artillery in 2016. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of CoAssets Pte Ltd.Xinran Wang
