Martine Btaich is a hiker and nature lover. She works in community and rural development, with a focus on community-based tourism. She is the Director of the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association. The Lebanon Mountain Trail (LMT) is the first long distance hiking trail in Lebanon connecting more than 76 mountainous villages and towns from north to south. The LMT showcases the natural beauty and cultural wealth of the Lebanese mountains and the charming hospitality of the Lebanese people endeavoring to sustain their local heritage.
