At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Sejal Moosapeta is currently a junior at ABA, An IB World School in Muscat, Oman, At 16 years of age, Sejal has taken an active role in both her school and local community by being the secretary of the ABA Student Council, president and founder of Humans of ABA, and three season varsity athlete. In addition, Sejal has been invited to be the president of Model United Nations conferences in Qatar, Italy, Netherlands and Germany, and hopes to carry her passion for International Relations, Diplomacy and Politics forward in university. Furthermore, she has also completed college courses at Columbia University and Stanford University in pursuit of these fields.
