In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

A'ishah Kamaludin

As a full-time hijab model, she always practices minimalism in her daily life.

Alice Lee Shing Chin

Alice is an expert in the field of emotional management and in relationship, she is a licensed counsellor of U.S.A and Malaysia, also a professional Life Skills trainer. She is active in community prevention events development works. Prior to the founding of SEED, she was employed by SAIC as the Adolescent Substance Abuse Counseling Service counsellor and has successfully implemented Life Skills Training program at U.S middle school and high school prevention program with excellent outcome. She has a Master degree in Education with an emphasis in Guidance and Counseling for children from Kindergarten to High school. Since 2002, she has been an Oklahoma Licensed Professional Counselor and an Oklahoma Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has many years of field therapy experience with individuals, couples, families, and groups, especially with behavioural-disorder-children and at-risk-teenagers. She also has many years public speaking experience especially in parenting talks and student talks in US and Malaysia.

Joshua Levi Rasen

Joshua started a company (WTF Penang) with RM500, bootstrapped the business until they managed to open up a store in Gurney Plaza Penang. He is currently working on opening of a restaurant & bar. Joshua is also the author of ‘The Art of Mixology for Dummies’ and involved in philanthropic activities actively. Well, everything comes with a price, Joshua didn’t get all these achievements in just one day. He dropped out of school in Form 3 and was once broke in 2012. Obviously, he didn’t give up and work his way out.

Lee Siang 李祥

Lee Siang, an wiring artist based in Nibong Tebal shows his immerse passionate towards wiring art. At first, he was not working as a wiring artist but a welder. His passion drives him to bravely pursue his dream as a full time wiring artist, leaving behind his job. Lee Siang creatively includes the element of interaction in most of his art works. He believes the walls in between human can be broken by interactions. Through his workpieces, he aims to share the positive energy and happiness to the public.

Raw Chef Yin

Yin trained at the world’s first classically structured raw and plant-based culinary school, the Matthew Kenney Culinary Academy and she is now on a quest to inspire and encourage everyone to make healthy, energising and delicious plant-based meals. In September 2017, she was selected to represent Malaysia at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Beyond Food Bootcamp, where she became part of the MIT innovation community that is working towards solving the world’s food challenges focusing on key areas of sustainability, transparency and health. Her mission is to change the perception that raw vegan food is tasteless, too green and totally unappetising. She wants the world to know that raw food can and should be mouthwateringly scrumptious and delightfully appealing

Tareq Nassri

An avid lover of music, movies, writing and beach holidays, he spent most of his working life in the service industry as a flight attendant. As a boy, Tareq has always wanted to make others happy by entertaining and creating an environment of joy and laughter. Through his own life's challenges and understanding that most people around him had the same issues, he began taking online courses on aromatherapy, counselling and pursued other modalities of healing that include Swedish/Thai massage, tarot, reiki and the studies of emotional energy.
