Theme: Weaving the Path

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Andrew Moll

Andrew is a world traveller from the IESE MBA Class of 2019. Hailing from a town in the United States of 3,000 people, he has consistently grown beyond his borders, living or working in 3 different continents. Enriched with this experience, a sense of adventure, and genuine curiosity, he has been able to discover many opportunities ranging from the mundane to the profitable -- all of which are fruitful.

Ayur Wu

Ying (Ayur) Wu is Ayur is an entrepreneur and a MBA from the Class of 2019 at IESE Business School. A lawyer by training but a marketer by profession. At different points in her career she was a TV reporter, a campaign designer, a media, and PR specialist. She is currently the Co-founder and CEO of YǏN Fine Jewelry (YǏN隐).

Cristina de Medrano

Cristina de Medrano is a former athlete, dentist, and is currently a life coach who helps people achieve their goals.

Gemma Garcia Godall

Gemma is a financial services expert and the former CEO of Gescobro where she worked for 14 years. She currently works as an emotional intelligence consultant for companies that want to develop the emotional intelligence of their leaders and teams. She has founded "Instituto de Inteligencia Emocional" to guide organisations through these culture transformation projects.

Kandarp Mehta

Kandarp Mehta is a Senior Lecturer at IESE Business School. His research has focused on creativity in organizations and negotiations. His teaching focuses on these topics across several management education programs. He has also been actively involved with theatre, as a director, script writer as well as a performer.

Luca Venza

Luca Venza is a Founding Partner of Lotus Partners, Business Advisor at Impacteo, and Director for Technology Innovation, Transfer, and Acceleration and founder of the Barcelona Technology Transfer Group at IESE Business School. Prior to this spent four years mentoring MBA students actively engaged or interested in entrepreneurship as part of the Career Services department of IESE.

Luis Alvarez

Luis started his career as a telecommunications engineer in Spain and has risen to the heights of CEO through a long and storied career. He is the former CEO of BT Global Services and the author of "Becoming a 3D CEO: The ultimate guide to unleashing your inner leader".

Marc Català

Marc Català Marc is a visual writer working in design thinking. He is Creative Director at Mucho, a branding, packaging, and graphic design studio based out of Barcelona, Paris, San Francisco, New York and Sydney

Mavi Sánchez-Vives

Mavi Sánchez-Vives is a Neuroscientist and co-director of EVENT Lab (Experimental Virtual Environments in Neuroscience and Tehcnology) which studies VR technology in helping patients and users learn to manage physical and psychological issues. She works with a concept called ‘embodiment’ which relates to how we see ourselves within VR.

Patricia Murugami

Patricia has helped launch and elevate women in 15 leadership programs across East and Southern Africa. She is currently Senior Faculty for Organizational Behaviour specializing in Authentic and Transformational Leadership, and Regional Academic Director for Inclusive and Women in Leadership Regional Programs at Strathmore University, and has recently completed her DBA at International School of Management in Paris, France.
