Theme: "The Butterfly Effect"

This event occurred on
October 27, 2018
Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
India

Chaos is the science of surprise and Chaos Theory deals with the phenomena that are difficult to predict like turbulence, weather, stock market, our brain and so on! Recognising this chaotic, fractal nature of our world can give us tremendous insight, power and wisdom.

The Butterfly Effect is the chaotic theory that grants power to a butterfly flapping its wings in Mexico to cause a hurricane in China. Had the butterfly not flapped its wings at the right point in time, the hurricane would never have happened. Yes, it may take a very long time, but the connection is real! Who knows the long term effects of the moves we make today on the future world?

The speakers coming in for our first ever TEDxSIESCOMS right here in our ground floor auditorium will shed light on the many facets that are starting their own Butterfly Effect now. We have the best making their first SIESCOMS appearance to share with us their theories on the little things we never even realised were making a big difference on our future.

As an institution, SIESCOMS believes in creating responsible citizens today, that can contribute to society in the most positive of ways in the future. Let's come together on 27th October 2018, and make our little contribution and more to make sure every coming butterfly effect is truly marvellous.
