Theme: The Great Unravelling

This event occurred on
September 1, 2018
IBADAN, Oyo
Nigeria

The world in which we live is simply a template of history, thus, what goes around comes around. It is not just a stagnant entity but also one that evolves in all its fabrics. The mutual interactions between humans and the societal system has brought about creativities and innovations in every sector of the society in healthcare, technology, culture, economy and many more.

However, as much as the society evolves with new ideas, new technologies, new culture and new thought patterns, we shouldn't but give a critical attention to seemingly old ideas that once shaped the world and are now being relegated to the back bench. It is glaring that humanity's race for the new cools have dwarfed some values and ideas that we once held precious as humans.

Could it be, that the world, in the quest to evolve with new belief systems has forgotten the valuable tenets on which the world once thread? Are there realities we have shunned because we are racing for new realities?

We need THE GREAT UNRAVELLING to dig deep into consciously and unconsciously dwarfed ideas and values. The world is yet to discover all that it needs to solve its problems and make life easy. There are yet innovative ideas to unravel from the deepest part of all humans as the world evolves.

THE GREAT UNRAVELLING will not only look into UNRAVELLING ideas for the future, it will as well look back and unravel ideas that once existed and must be resurrected. We will unravel the past and unravel the future. We will unravel the deep and unravel the shallow. We are unravelling values and ideas. We will unravel thought patterns and belief systems. Yes, it will sure be a GREAT UNRAVELLING.
