In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ernest Tavakalyan is the founder of the consulting agency MarkeWay. He also works with other projects as a specialist in marketing and communications. In this position, he deals with the buying behaviour of consumers and how they can be tricked into acquiring goods and services.

Maria Tuzova is studying new media and strategic communications at the Moscow State Institute for International Relations. Her special interest lies in how we can efficiently talk about environmental problems and ways to solve them in an age where this subject is so over-discussed that few people seem to really care about it.

Vladimir Abazov

Vladimir Abazov studied marketing and economics in Russia and Germany. His special field of interest is the method of systems thinking, which has has been using for the last few years during his scientific work.
