Theme: Echoing ideas

TEDxNITRaipur is an independently organized TED event and it aims at bringing experts from diverse walks of life under one roof to strike engaging talks that can invoke new ideas. We at TEDxNITRaipur believe that the greatest force in the world is a powerful idea that echoes the lives which are full of synchronized moves and chaotic shows. TEDxNITRaipur 2.0 aspires to bring all those who saw what everybody has seen but thought what nobody has ever thought. So, in the spirit of ‘Echoing Ideas’ TEDxNITRaipur endeavours to achieve some unborn innovations and lingering fantasies into astonishing ideas echoing within.This event is scheduled on 17th of March, 2018 at Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Auditorium,Raipur.

He plays a key role in training football players as well helping them in their personality development. He is specialised in football with International Coaching Licence. He is a resource person for leadership and adventure activities

Noe Alba-Baena

Exhibiting rich industrial experience our next speaker Dr. Noe Alba-Baena is a potent researcher, an effective journal reviewer and a renowned product designer. He is a distinguished professor in the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering department at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez (UACJ), Mexico. His "Methods for industrial-scale production of metal matrix nanocomposites " has been patented. As consultant of industrial materials and lean-sigma system implementation, he significantly explored the field. From Materials Science to Manufacturing Processes his research fields demonstrate a multidisciplinary background. He has been associated in various capacities with reputed universities and organizations.

Prabhu Chawla

Political Journalist

Born in Lahore, Prabhu Chawla is an alumni of Deshbandhu college, University of Delhi. He started his career as an economics lecturer in Delhi University. He then worked as the editorial director of the India Today magazine for 24 years until August 2010 after which he became the editor of Language publications of the same. Having interviewed distinguished personalities of India including Mr. Narendra Modi, Mr. Amir Khan and others, Mr Chawla also has the unique distinction of being the only journalist ever in India whose story had led to the fall of a Government in New Delhi. The awards and recognition that Mr. Chawla holds are Padma Bhushan, Punjabi Icon award, Telly awards for best anchor, Lifetime achievement award - 5th IMWA 2016 awards and so much more to mention. Currently, he is hosting Sachchi Baat on National Voice , Siddhi Gal on PTC News and is the editorial director of The New Indian Express Group.

Rajat Bansal an alumni of BITS Pilani( did his graduation in Computer Science )got a chance to do a training in France and got various offer letters from the prominent IT companies of our country like the Infosys.But as rightly said that the people who don't choose to follow the path already being followed by others and instead choose to create their own path with their choices are the ones who make the difference;and the same happened with his story. He chose the challenging path of being able to make a difference for our society and our nation and aimed for the prestigious UPSC examinations. With an all India rank of 85 he got selected for Indian Administrative Services in UPSC 2011 .Currently he is Commissioner Raipur Municipal Corporation and CEO and Managing Director of Raipur Smart City Limited.

Her work as a corporate trainer is a reflective of her goal to help people and empowering women, not only by portraying her triumphs but also her tribulations.

An intense actor, a realistic writer and a travel enthusiast. Vipul Singh Tapas is a greatly celebrated nomad nukkad actor. Once declared handicapped, mute and mentally retarded he defied all odds. Driven by his passion for theater he dropped out of engineering to give his dreams a form. He walked fro Bhopal to Jammu with over 900 performances, expanding ideas, creating awareness and putting forth social issues in the most explicit manner. He has travelled to more than 21 states and 5 union territories endorsing rational thinking among the masses and redefining education. Born to a feminist mother he has addressed various issues concerning the girl child. A believer of- 'humanity- a way of living',he promotes taking the lead rather than being mere followers.
