Shaping the future requires a vision that drives creative action to ensure that tomorrow is not just a mere repetition of history. This University event will feature 12 speakers who would speak for 12 minutes each. A speech for every month in the year, a speech for every hour on your clock and a speech for every zodiac sign that enlivens your star. The speakers comprise students, professionals and educators from a diverse array of fields, each sharing ideas that will spur you on to creating the most desirable future you are capable of.

Ade Balogun

Founder, Locitude
Ade is an Architect, Administrator and an Entrepreneur. Over ten years, Ade has acquired a wide range of experience in various fields. Ade can be aptly defined to being adaptable, resourceful, competent and a community builder. She was a pioneer member of staff at Konga Online Shopping Limited (Konga.com) where she led the Administration Department. Ade was a key member of the team that drove the company to recognition whilst raising over $25million in capital investment within the first six months of the Company’s existence. Ade is also the founder and CEO of Locitude, where she provides a social service helping people who choose to wear their hair dreadlocked, fulfilling her passion whilst encouraging people to be comfortable in their own skin while accept their thick African hair,

Adenike Akinsemolu

Founder, Green Institute
Adenike Akinsemolu is an environmental educator and the founder of the Green Institute, the first Nigerian research institution that subsidizes college tuition costs through a waste management program while training leaders that will systematically transform attitudes about environmentalism in Africa’s most populated and polluted country.

Iyimide Shola-Shittu

Queen Moremi
Queen Iyimide Shola shittu is an Automotive Engineer in view. she is the present Queen Moremi Ajasoro of Ile Ife and the Cultural ambassador to his Imperial majesty Ooni Babatunde Adeyeye Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) The ooni of ife, in representing the whole of Yoruba race. She is the founder of Queen Iyimide foundation ( QIF) a foundation that focus on bringing hope, helping the weak, empowering and bringing smiles to those who are in need. She is also the founder of Ajoke House, an home of fashion inspired by art where exotic collections of Ethinic Apparel, Fabrics, Accessories and Couture are produce and made available for sale, in which 25% of the profit goes into the foundation and building of a composite automobile workshop with female as it top priority

John Olumuyiwa Awodeyi

Business developer and program director/Technology
John Awodeyi, a communicator, poet, business developer and program director holds a B.Tech degree in computer science from the federal university of technology, Akure(FUTA) before moving on to being a technology business developer and programs director. As a communication enthusiast, John hosted "Better you" on FUTA radio in 2015 to enhance the public speakability of listeners. In 2016, he began helping youths understand crucial issues of life through his "BETTER YOU LAUNCH". By January 2017, John married his undying love for "art" and "community" to start Africa's Winning Mind - an initiative with the bid to use spoken word alongside other emotive art forms to inspire unity and people development in each nation of Africa. Johnzoe as he is fondly called, believes we are collectively responsible for the community we have and that we are able to shape our society to the degree that we believe in it.

Lilian David

Director For Programs, African Students For Liberty, West Africa
Lilian David is a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. She is currently an Executive board member, Students for Liberty, the director for programs African Students Liberty, West Africa and the regional director, African Students For Liberty, Ghana. She is involved in student activism and also a promoter of self-independence and liberalism. She has been a member of the African Liberty students organization on her campus and her active participation and outstanding performance got her elected as the secretary general of (ALSO)in 2014 of which she was awarded the best executive in that same year. In 2014,her involvement in the SFL(Students For Liberty) network improved as she applied for the local coordinator program was accepted. Since then she has been actively championing the liberty course wherever she finds herself.

Olusola Amusan

Futurist
Olusola Amusan, a 2017 UNLEASH SDG Talent, is the Author of Are You Branded or Stranded (2010), 2017-2018 Curator for the Lagos global shaper community of the World Economic Forum, a member of the Country Support Mechanism (CSM) of the Global Community Engagement & Resilience Fund in Nigeria, founder of Curators University (Curators.ng) and the President of the 8th and 9th Sessions of the African Youth and Governance Conference. Olusola is strongly concerned about subjects such as unemployment and its economic impact, eradicating poverty and inspiring leadership, through the effective deployment and use of big data, mobility, social media and cloud technologies. In 2014, he was appointed as the head of Corporate Citizenship at Microsoft Nigeria, Olusola is responsible for driving non-profit initiatives, social investments and impact oriented engagements for the subsidiary within the larger Middle East and Africa group.

Salim is the Vice President of Elizade University Debate Society A student, debater, and speaker and currently a member of the Students Consultative Forum.

Sam Ogbole

Agricultural Technologist
He is Nigeria's first Smart farmer, promoting soilless planting, sensors for plants, and advocate of climate smart agriculture. He is a firm believer of a farming system which is healthy for the farmer, healthy for the consumer and healthy for the environment.

Tade Ajiboye

VR Developer
I am a Unity game developer who creates beautifully exciting games. I also create virtual reality experiences for multiple HMDs. I am the VR developer at Imisi 3D and VR developer for LeVRn, a VR solution that teaches coding which won first prize at the first VR Hackathon in Nigeria, Africa. I've also completed the Udacity Virtual Reality Nanodegree and I am a Udacity certified VR developer. When I am not building VR experiences and games, I can be found teaching myself to play the flute, and learning Japanese.

Theophilus Fadayomi

Ag. Vice Chancellor, Elizade University
Professor Fadayomi, a specialist in Economics and Demography, has worked across the domain of academia and international organizations for several years from the 70s. He is currently the Ag. Vice Chancellor of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State

Walter Spearheart

Musician / Music Therapy
Walter Spearheart is known as a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Nigeria. He is also immensely involved in the service of music therapy. Using the traditional Celtic Harp, he renders soothing music for relaxation, healing and restoration. During his sojourn in South Africa, he was interviewed for his work on Cape Town TV, and was also invited to speak on “music for healing and restoration” at the University of Stellenbosch. He is also the convener of The HOLDON Initiative which is the product of an aspiration to remedy the issues of xenophobia in South Africa and to foster harmony and a greater sense of responsibility amongst concerned individuals and nationalities through music and cultural exchange ideas.
