Ryan Safiry is a high school student from Boston, Massachusetts. He's passionate about politics, writing, and community service, and manifests these hobbies through serving as the founder and editor-in chief of a political magazine called " The Green Light", a leader of his school's Model United Nations team, and running his international project, " Be4caus," to support people with cancer in Morocco. In addition, Ryan built and designed a children's playroom at a local hospital in Marrakech, Morocco, to benefit children battling cancer. He is also a member of his school's water polo team, and a mentor in an American charitable non-profit organisation called " Big Brother Big Sisters" that aims to help youth reach their potential. Ryan also participated in international trips from Deerfield Academy's CSGG ( Center for Service and Global Citizenship) to Jordan and South Korea, studying the cultural aspect and implications of what it means to be a leader in a rapidly changing world.
