This event occurred on

There are fine lines that connect everything together. Ideas, thoughts, creations all have lines that link them to form immaculate conceptions and creations. Are you ready to discover what our Invisible Lines are connected to?

Join us this Monday at out our first salon on campus this year!

Our ‘salon’ event, unlike the main TEDxAUB event, is a FREE event that opens that stage up for discussion. It is a shorter, cozier version of our regular events but with a boost of energy: YOU. We will be discussing the topic of inventions with our live speaker Fouad Maksoud as well as posing questions and discussion of what it means to create something.

So join us, and be a part of the discussion.
This is the first of a series of salons we will hold. Come and find out how you can shape these topics and discussions. We all look forward to meeting you.

Fouad Maksoud

Petrochemical Engineering - Inventor
Intrigued by the principles of nanotechnology, Fouad has worked on exploring ways to integrate this technology in the medical field. Working on a new invention, he has created a way to apply petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals to ordinary textiles to change the way medicines are delivered to wounds without having to remove bandages and risk infections. To him this is only the first step in his goal to shape medical technology.
