Gallatin
x = independently organized TED event

Theme: Art+Science

This event occurred on
April 19, 2011
New York, New York
United States

TEDxGallatin is a forum primarily featuring talks by NYU Gallatin Graduate Students. Individual talks will vary based on each student's field of study but overall the talks will be looking at ways art and science collide, intermingle and converge. We tend to think of "Art" and "Science" as separate categories when in fact they inform each other more than we might imagine. The speakers will focus on interdisciplinary ways in which the topics intersect in an effort to inspire more creative ways of thinking.

The event will consist of 25 talks including 13 talks by Gallatin Graduate Students, five talks by Graduate NYU Students from other schools within the university, and seven slots for Faculty or Professional Speakers.
