In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aayush Mohan

Lakshay Mohan & Aayush Mohan Gupta's performances of Hindustani Classical Music have won the hearts of audiences at prestigious classical music festivals and venues across the world, some of which are - The Grammy Museum, Los Angeles ; India Fine Arts Academy, San Diego ; Thyaghraja Festival, Cleveland ; Learn Quest Music Conference, Boston ; The Abbey Theatre, Columbus to name a few.

Ashish Sharma

RJ Ashish, popularly known as 'Kadak Launda' is a radio jockey with 93.5 RedFM Delhi. He is famous for his on-air prank avatar 'Purushottam Uncle'.

Harry Stevens

Harry Stevens leads the Data Journalism team at Hindustan Times (HT). At HT, he and his team use data and graphics to tell stories. Before joining HT, Harry has previously worked at The Salt Lake Tribune and The New York World with his stories published in the New York World, the Riverdale Press and the Columbia Journalist. He got a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University, New York.

Harshita Arora

Harshita is a 16 y/o unschooler. She has been designing and programming iOS apps since 1-2 years. She was the youngest intern at Salesforce, Bangalore in 2016. She attended the MIT Launch program in summer 2017 where she co-founded her first startup, Universeaty. After that, she worked on an iOS app, Crypto Price Tracker, released the app on 28th January this year and within 24 hours of launch, it was already #2 in the Top Charts in Finance category. It was featured on Product Hunt.

Lakshay Mohan

Representing the legacy of Pandit Ravi Shankar, the Mohan Brothers are the first Indian musicians to be invited to perform at the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles. Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan have gained an immense following among music lovers all over the nation during the past few years with their unique way of presenting Sitar - Sarod duets. The Mohan Brothers are known to connect to all kinds of listeners while preserving and incorporating old musical compositions and techniques in their playing. Their album "The Hidden Harmony" has been nominated for Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA) Awards. India Today has hailed them as harbingers of Indian classical music.

Nishant Mittal

Nishant Mittal started his journey as an entrepreneur in first year of college (MAIT). Through astounding ups and downs, his company The Testament generated 1.2 Cr in revenues by the time college was over. While growing The Testament and continuing with the same energy, Nishant is focussed on his mission of creating opportunities for people with the new social commerce platform called Cread where artists can monetize their talent. An artist himself, Nishant's last song - Kashmir - raised Rs. 20,000 for the martyrs of Indian Armed Forces and got supported by noted personalities like Anupam Kher, Suhel Seth, Deepa Malik, to name a few.

Prof. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru

Prof. PK is an Associate Professor at IIIT Delhi. He has been a TEDx and is a ACM Distinguished speaker & ACM India Eminent Speaker. Apart from playing an advisory role in various government organizations and a Fortune 500 company, he is the Founding Head of Cybersecurity Education and Research Centre (CERC) at IIIT-Delhi. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and is primarily excited about and works on issues related to Privacy and Security in Online Social Media, Computational Social Science, and Data Science for Social Good.

Ravi Virmani

Ravi Virmani is the Founder and MD of Credihealth.com, a first of its kind healthcare portal in India. In 1990, he co-founded Noble House attracting, nurturing and mentoring a large team of consultants which eventually evolved to become Hewitt Associates - India. After successful stints as MD at Hewitt South Asia and CEO Aventus Consulting in Singapore, he returned to India as COO of Max Healthcare immediately before founding Credihealth. Ravi got his MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Sana Sood

Nitin Sood & Sana Sood founded 'Happy Shappy' to re-imagine how people celebrate weddings. It is an online portal for a wide variety of wedding venues and vendors. It is based out of New Delhi and was founded in the year 2016. They provide power of choice and convenience to the consumers to dream , plan and organize these events. Since Happy Shappy has been operating, they’ve closed over 70 weddings, ranging from INR 10 Lakhs to INR 1 Crore, and have been featured in various media publications.

Subhrajeet Gautam

Founder President of Umeed Foundation, Subhrajeet holds a dream of providing all children basic rights of food, cloth, education and medical facility. Subhrajeet started Umeed - a drop of hope in 2011, he felt that something needed to be done to improve the situation of underprivileged children. Since its inception, more than 80,000 children have directly benefited from his initiative. Through their GoGreen (protecting the environment) and Paridhan (creating balance between the rich and the poor in the society through donating clothes etc.) initiative, Umeed is bringing a change in the society.

Swati Maliwal

Ms Swati is the chairperson of Delhi Commision for Women. After completing her graduation, she decided to take the road less travelled and left the job at a major technology giant and started to work for basic rights and safety for women and children. Being a social activist, she had organised campaigns regarding RTI relating to women issues, worked with Public Cause Research Foundation (PCRF), Parivartan NGO and campaigned for Greenpeace India. She is now making a major impact on issues being faced by women in Delhi.
