Theme: A Seat At The Table

This event occurred on
July 29, 2018
London, London, City of
United Kingdom

Just because you are able to share your views via social media to the world, does not mean anyone is listening or that you will be offered a seat at the table.

People from all communities have been systematically excluded from decision making and effecting change, at "the table", a symbol of power and credibility.

But isn't it time we created our own spaces, built our own tables and defined what it means to have a voice? TEDxPeckham explores the current boundaries placed upon communities while challenging the way it has always been done, offering ideas and billowing hope rolled into one
