The mission of TedxYouth@FairviewIS is to share and inspire meaningful discussions among students and promote the development of tomorrow’s thinkers and doers.

TedxYouth@FairviewIS aims to act as a catalyst for inspiration. We seek to embody the TED mantra ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’ through actively seeking out an eclectic mix of leading innovators and distinguished individuals of the community and putting them together on to one platform.

TedxYouth@FairviewIS is a student-run event organised by the Fairview IBDP (international Baccalaureate Diploma Program) student society at Fairview International School, Kuala Lumpur Campus. TedxYouth@FairviewIS is an independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.

A. J Minai

Entrepreneur
As a previous TEDx speaker, Dr A.J. has always looked towards educating and inspiring the current generation to allow them to bridge the gap between generations. He has worked hard on various start up businesses which has ended up with him working with companies such as Google and he has spoken for events such as TED.

Azlan Kamaludin

Doctor
Dr Azlan has been through a rough history, and has recently published a book titled “3 cancers in 10 months”. He has gone through drastic changes in his life which has allowed him to give more to society and change his mindset on life. Dr Azlan chose to use the light out of a very dark situation and has changed the world because of it.

Bhavika Kumar

Student
Bhavika is a 13 years old student who enjoys writing in her blog and journalism. She often discusses how despite the common journalist bias seen in newspaper there is still positive gestures however we often forget to report such acts as they have become uninteresting to people these days.

Calvin Tang

MUNer and Youth Leader
Calvin has been in the MUN and Toastmasters scene for many years now and has a large variety of speaking roles that he has taken over the years. His idea of pacing yourself at life has really guided him towards a successful and bright future that he is constantly building for himself.

Rehhahn Tudball

Representative of UNAM
He is a long time MUNe3r until he was chosen by the UN to join the UNAM task-force (United Nations Association of Malaysia). He has spoken at many events and has been in the MUN community for many years. He is an influential youth leader.

Stefano Virghilli

CEO of Vox.Sg
Stefano has spoken for many years both for TedX and for outside events. He has been speaking at Ted conferences for over 20 years. He has written a book in 2011 and he has specialise in consulting and training. He believes in the ideals of never giving up and always making the best of every situation.
