In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Fred Canto e Castro, 23 anos, é o criador da Sonder People, uma agência que coloca pessoas reais a trabalhar em publicidade para todo o mundo. Depois de perceber que o mercado da publicidade tinha mudado muito nos últimos anos, com as marcas a quererem criar relações mais próximas com os seus consumidores, aos 20 anos decidiu seguir o caminho menos “certo” e abdicou de concluir o seu curso de gestão na Nova SBE para criar a sua própria empresa. Começou a trabalhar no seu quarto com mais quatro colaboradores, e depois de nove meses a dormir no chão da sala mudou a empresa para o LxFactory, onde se encontra de momento.
