In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Vanna Mantefors

Student, singer and artist
Vanna Mantefors was born 2001 in Norrköping, Sweden. Despite her young age she has already done a lot. It all started in 2014 when she got the role as Brigitta von Trapp in The Sound of Music at Östgötateatern. That changed a lot for Vanna, she started thinking that her dream of becoming an artist might come true. In 2017 she joined a music competition for seniors in elementary school in Norrköping. She wrote the pop song “It’s gonna take some time”, a song about the teens. All the pressure teenagers go through, how to look, how to act, how to feel. About how everything seems hopeless and how you wish it’ll soon end. It was the first self-written song she has sung in front of an audience, and she won the competition. Now she combines working with music in her spare time and studying music at the Swedish upper secondary high school When she has finished school she wants to continue studying and working with music both in Sweden and abroad.
