TEDxWhitehallWomen is back for its fifth edition on Friday 3rd November

This one day event will take place in London at on the drill deck of HMS President.

Theme - Bridges. We build them, travel them, sing them and burn them. They take us places we want to go and, sometimes, places we don’t. They form an integral part of our lives and environment and represent a clear link between our past, present and future. This year’s TEDxWhitehall Women theme is all about bridges. What do they mean to you?

We will have a stellar line up of speakers and will also stream part of the global TEDWomen event taking place in USA.

Dr Mari Takayanagi

Dr Mari Takayanagi is a Senior Archivist at the Parliamentary Archives, and currently joint project manager and co-curator for 'Voice and Vote', Parliament's Vote 100 exhibition, celebrating 100 years of the vote for some women and all men in 2018. Her doctoral thesis was on Parliament and women in the early 20th century. @Satisfactory20
