All of us have a moment in our lives that has a deepening impact on how our future will be shaped. Impact also extends to the effect of our work on other's lives. The Dalia Lama said," Everything you do has some effect, some impact." Do you ever wonder about your impact on others and what influences have impacted you? Our theme, IMPACT! challenges you to explore these critical moments through the lens of dynamic presenters as they share their ideas. Brace for IMPACT!

Fred P. Banny

Fred P. Banny is a purpose-driven entrepreneur, leadership coach, speaker, and mentor.Born in Monrovia, Liberia in the mid-80s, Fred spent his formative years in a war-torn nation where he witnessed carnage and unrest for 10+ years during the Liberian civil wars. In 2001, Fred migrated to the United States to continue his education, which was often disrupted by the wars. He joined his father in New York and pursued academic excellence. Fred earned a degree in Construction Engineering from SUNY Farmingdale. He is passionate about inspiring and coaching people to believe beyond their borders. In 2015, Fred married his purpose-partner and the two formed The Fred & Cordelia Banny Foundation. Fred currently works as a construction engineer while leading one of the Banny Foundation’s initiatives: Conversations with Kings (CWK). His aim, through CWK, is to help boys and men activate their potential and take positions as servant leaders of influence and impact in their homes and communities.

Garrison Redd

Advocate for Equal Rights
Garrison Redd is a motivational speaker, model, fashion designer, entrepreneur, and an advocate for equal rights. Growing up, he excelled scholastically and athletically, scoring in the top 3 percentile in school and playing various sports. In his senior year in high school, Garrison was shot in the back and suffered spinal damage that left him unable to walk. Rather than feeling sorry for himself, Garrison focused on the bigger picture of overcoming adversity and inspiring others. In 2017, he founded TheGarrisonReddProject to provide individuals with assistance in the community, the workplace, transportation, education and any other issues individuals may be experiencing. TheGarrisonReddProject also host fundraisers and charitable events to provide accessible equipment to individuals who are unable to afford certain items which will improve their quality of life such as wheelchairs,walkers, crutches and plenty other medical devices.

She was born to parents who were both holocaust survivors and her childhood years were filled with uncertainty and fear. She knew in her heart and soul that there must be a better way. Sama Jashnani

CEO & Co-Founder of DownToDash
Sama is the 25-year-old CEO & Co-Founder of DownToDash, an app that connects people in the same location to do an activity together. She has been a speaker at New York Advertising Week and has been featured in Forbes, Huff Post, Inc. Magazine and other popular publications. While in college, she co-founded a social enterprise to empower rural women to deliver in-home salon services. Subsequently, she got a full scholarship for her Masters in Marketing and Strategy at Warwick Business School. Prior to co-founding DownToDash, she co-founded a jewelry e-commerce platform called Jewels By Samaya and worked at Mullen Lowe Lintas Group. Sama also advises other start-ups and NGO’s on their social media and marketing strategies and hosts entrepreneurship workshops for university students and budding entrepreneurs.
