Carin Jämtin

Director General SIDA, The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
Carin Jämtin, born in 1964, has a long and solid experience in Swedish development cooperation, not least in the capacity of Minister for International Development Cooperation between 2003 and 2006 and as Deputy Secretary General at the Olof Palme International Center. For the past three years Carin Jämtin has served as a member of the Swedish parliament.

Johan Karlsson is the Managing Director of Better Shelter, a social enterprise that develops and provides innovative housing solutions for persons displaced by armed conflicts and natural disasters. Better Shelter’s headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden. The organization has received various accolades for design. Johan was recently ranked as one of the top 5 sustainability entrepreneurs in Sweden.

Veronica Brodén Gyberg

Senior Lecturer, Environmental Change (TEMAM) ,Linköping University
Veronica Brodén Gyberg is a lecturer at the Department of Thematic Studies – Environmental Change and the Centre for Climate Science and Policy Research (CSPR) at Linköping University (LiU). Her educational background is in political science and environmental studies. Having grown up Tanzania and Nicaragua sparked her interest in development issues. Critical analysis of the relationship between foreign aid, science and development is central in her research. Veronica also works part of her time at the International Affairs and Collaborations Division (IFSA) at LiU, where she focuses on developing the university’s research and education collaboration with universities in Africa.
