Theme: Diverging Patterns.

TEDxVignanUniversity is organized by a group of student enthusiasts belonging to various professional coliseums. TEDxVignanUniversity has been curated to host a novelty of talks and eminent speakers with an aim of providing current & future insights to effect on the advancement of the local community here in a positive way. The first edition of TEDxVignanUniversity chapter is to be organized on the 9th of September, 2017.

In the timeline of human life, every century, decade, year, month, week, day takes turns towards various phases, making changes to the survival and nature of livelihood. An instance of standard of living in India says, around 2 decades back a hero cycle defines your standard as normal whereas a hero motorcycle does the same today. The theme of TEDxVignanUniversity, Diverging Patterns is made to make everyone understand this divergence in the development perspective of future.

Divyanshu Damani

Vlogger & Motivational Speaker

Divyanshu Damani is a social media vlogger whose main focus is on creating positive and value adding content for his audience. He is an entrepreneur, traveller, speaker, scuba diver, skier and believer. His videos have been viewed by over 5 million people and he’s got a strong 75000 plus subscriber base. He’s worked as a social entrepreneur while he was in college and founded an organization named, Wakeupkid which focussed on bringing about micro level change with a macro level impact. He believes that there is a bucketload of only humour content on his news feed, so he plans to fill the news feed of people around him with practical, positive and value adding content. A recent graduate of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, he’s still on his exploration path and feels that if any of his videos helps just one individual, he calls the video a hit in itself.

Gauranga Das

ISKCON Leader

Gauranga Prabhu, disciple of H.H.Radhanath Swami Maharaja Graduated from IIT Bombay in 1993, his interest in Krishna Consciousness dawned during his college days. He moved in as a full time preacher at ISKCON Chowpatty. He also counsels on stress management in several co-operative organizations for senior level managers. With an undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the reputed IIT Mumbai, he is leading the Govardhan Ecovillage Facilities, Nursery and the Green Buildings Construction(CSEB). He has bagged many awards for GEV by presenting the Symbiotic waste management systems followed in GEV in various reputed conferences like CII, SKOCH and FICCI. He is instrumental in bringing up the new Vedic culture and education center in GEV. He is also currently leading the much awaited Vrindavan Biodiversity project at GEV.

Jyoti Dhawale

HIV Activist & Social Worker

Dhawale is a staunch supporter of the rights and equality of PLWHA, LGBT community and supports LGBT movement in India. She has been involved in various activities concerning human rights, human trafficking, sex workers and women and child health, since 2007. Through the medium of the internet and personal meetings, she has counselled and guided many HIV (infected/affected) and suicide related cases. She has supported Bapuji Center for AIDS Research & Education, (B'CARE) since 2012 as a Regional Co-Ordinator for its Hyderabad-Mumbai AIDS Ride 2014. She is also a motivational speaker at Deep Griha Society based in Pune. Dhawale uses Facebook as a medium to promote awareness and education of People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and is connected with other international activists as well as PLWHA survivors.

He is a member of Advisory Board at 50k Ventures and is also an Angel Investor, Growth Hacker and Startup advisor with an experience in Blackberry as a head of App World & Content Marketing.Krishna led BlackBerry's Sales & Marketing of App Store business in the Asia- Pacific, Africa & Middle East Regions. Previously Krishna worked with Cellmania a leading App Platform as India Head, and Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) as Head of Sales & Marketing -India. He had earlier worked with such companies as Telstra & Gametel in Australia and was responsible for Content Business Development, strategy and operations. In a career spanning over a decade, Krishna has developed strong market insights and understanding of the global mobile services industry.

Kuldeep Ruhil

Actor, Script Writer, Director

Kuldeep Ruhil is a simple personality in Film and Television. He is from a small Village - Dehkora, near Sampla in Rohtak District in Haryana. His Father Captain Mangli Ram didn't want to him to join the film line but his creativity and interest in theatre take him to Mumbai. But he didn't go there without preparation. He did his Diploma in Direction in Theatre from Indian Theatre, Punjab University Chandigarh from where the famous people like Anupam Kher got his diploma in acting. Before that, he did his graduation from University College Rohtak. He was a Student of evening shift there and actively participated in Plays, Skits. His hard work paid him the reward and he is working on many projects behind the Camera. He is a regular face in the serial "Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai". He was featured in the Punjabi song "Daak Bangla". He is also working on some film projects in the line of assistant director as Director for Cheer Haran (2017) - A Film by Kuldeep Ruhil.

Novoneel Chakraborty is an Indian author of fiction. His specialty lies in romantic thrillers that he writes along with philosophy mixed with it. His first book “A Thing beyond forever” released in 2008 and won the national bestseller tag in just a few months of its release. He followed it up with “That kiss in the rain” and then wrote the book that won him the biggest applause, “How about a sin tonight?” He went on to write commercial bestsellers like “Ex” and then “The Stranger Trilogy”. The first two books of the trilogy- “Marry Me, Stranger” and “All Yours, Stranger” have won many hearts. His last release was "Forget me not, stranger"; the final installment of the trilogy. The stranger trilogy, as on 2017 is stated to release in 6 different languages all over India. His last release, "Black Suits You" is a psycho-sexual thriller which released in November 2016. His next book, also a dark semantic thriller is titled "Forever Is A Lie" and would release in 2017.
