In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Jeff Golner

Jeff Golner is the Principle Principal of Agency G, a full service creative, marketing and event production firm. Golner is also the President & CEO of STEM Sports©. STEM Sports develops and provides turnkey curricula for 3rd through 8th grade-aged students using a sport as the strategic vehicle to drive STEM-based learning in classrooms, after-school programs, and camp settings. An Arizona native born in Phoenix, Golner is a 1993 University of Arizona graduate with a Media Arts major with a Marketing emphasis.

Jim Kellner

Jim Kellner, is a transplant to Phoenix, AZ from the Pacific Northwest where he worked in one of the busiest hypnosis clinics in the area. He received his professional training at Hypnosis & NLP Dynamics and received continuing training from Positive Changes Hypnosis Centers. He attended NLP Practitioner training from the Empowerment Partnership. Jim completed over 800 hours of training in massage therapy at Ashmead College and enjoyed working with clients as a Licensed Massage Practitioner for over 10 years before shifting his focus to hypnotherapy. Jim has helped thousands of people lose weight, decrease pain, stress & anxiety, and fears & phobias, quit smoking and make many other incredible changes in their life simply by helping them to tap into the strength and power of their other-than-conscious mind.

Racahel Mann

Rachael Mann is a speaker, author, education consultant, and founder of TeachlikeTED, an organization that provides teachers, leaders, and students with tools for presentation literacy. Rachael uses her voice and her expertise to broaden the conversation around education reform and to amplify the voices of teachers and students. Prior to TeachlikeTED, Rachael was the Network to Transform Teaching and STEM Professional Learning Director for Northern Arizona University, State Director for Educators Rising Arizona, and currently provides professional development for West-MEC. A former high school Career and Technical Education teacher and hailing from a family of educators, she has 14 years of classroom teaching experience. Rachael is a Google Certified Educator with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

SAMxSOLUxSANNA SAMxSOLUxSANNA

Nigerian-American singer, Solu, and Fijian born singer, Sanna (pictured), are local artists here in the valley. Both began singing in the younger years of their lives and have pursued the arts into adult-good. At the age of 20 Sanna auditioned and made it to the season 3 finals of the acclaimed American Idol television series.Their performance aims to bring the powerful poem “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” by the late Maya Angelou, to life by marrying audio-visual arts into live performance. It is a blend if self-written accounts that give nod to a world through the lens of the acclaimed poem and that tie into the larger justice narrative taking rise in society.
