In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He was one of the founding members of the student project, Team MANAS, that deals with artificial intelligence and has been successful in designing EVE- an autonomous car built entirely by engineering students. Reuben spoke in layman's terms and yet, was able to put across the point that Artificial intelligence could either be a boon or a bane depending on the future.

Sammilan Shetty is a young nature lover who has devoted himself to the care and conservation of butterflies. He aims to conserve them without capturing them, and owns a famous butterfly park in Belvai with over 2000 butterflies.
