Before we could begin the journey to TEDxRGPV, we are not really talking about “Diversity” itself, we have different definitions of it. We believe that the society is made up of the pillars or columns. These pillars are the people and their profession that contributes towards the society. Everyone is important in this society. No profession comes above the other, each bears equal responsibilities.
But the Human Development is not restricted to certain pillars, or professions, the Human Development is the joint effort of all the pillars. The Human Development focuses on Sustainability, Quality of life, Affordable Education and Participation in Economy for all. These pillars are nothing but the “Diversity” in the society. Diversity, on which the society has been built for so many ages.
Therefore, we are Celebrating the Diversity by showing the contributions by the people towards human development (which are not so mainstream)
