Wellington International School are proud to host TEDx WIS; iThought on June 28th. The event seeks to allow students a forum to share their thought provoking ideas, which will mostly be centered around Technology, Education and Design, with like-minded individuals. The TED philosophy, which sits comfortably with the ethos of GEMS, is “We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other”. WIS is a school which seeks to celebrate the diverse variety of students we have in attendance and an event of this kind, a first to Dubai schools, is an opportunity to showcase these confidently inspiring young and talented individuals who present their ideas with such flair that they may even change your way of thinking!
