In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ahmed Abdelsalam

Ahmed Abdelsalam is a professional programmer who is working for Danco Solutions in Romania, a writer in many blogs specializing in programming science and a web design instructor who has taught more than 125 students of different ages from 12 years to 45 years. He was chosen as a trainer in the initiative of one million Arab programmers and he is studying electrical engineering at Zagazig University.

Ahmed Rashed

Ahmed Rashed is a professor and former head of architecture department at the British University in Egypt. He is the founding director of Farouk Elbaz Center of sustainability and future studies (FECSFS). Chair of architecture engineering department, Mansoura University, Egypt from July 2004 till September 2008. Worked as professor at different universities in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Published about 60 academic papers in international conferences and magazines.

Amr Abdulwahab

Dr Amr Abdelwhab - President of Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud's astronomical association. - Consultant at the national institute of astronomy. - Giving lectures in Suez, Ain Shams, and Cairo University in addition to astronomical photography workshops in many Arab countries.

Amr Faisel

Amr Faisel is a student at the faculty of mechanical engineering, Nile University and a previous student at aerospace engineering major at Zewail University. He was a speaker for Zewail city science festival (ZCSF) in 2016 & 2017, exchange student for (TALC 2017) program in Malaysia, active citizen program trainee by the British Council, Marj3 intern (Round 4) and M2GATE program participant.

Buthiana Khaled

Buthaina is a student in the faculty of arts, She participated in many singing contests and came the first place around the country in one of them when she was in primary school. She was also awarded as star of El-Sharkia and performed in many plays and concerts afterwards.

Hend is an Egyptian translator and linguistic master student, writing articles about plastic and fine arts, and publishing paintings with simple explanation to make people know how to read a painting. Hend believes that her passion has changed her life and will change many others too.

Mohamed Eltohamy

Mohamed started out art performances in 2016 and participated in many events around the country, he’s also been granted as one of the best 300 artists around the Arab countries in the International Conference of Plastic Arts and participated in the initiative “Hope Makers” to teach a million people how to draw. “An artist isn’t supposed to draw what he sees, but what he wants to see” find out what that means in this talk.

Mohamed Medhat

Mohamed is a college student who studies dentistry at Badr University in Cairo, he’s been a fond of magic and a big fan of the famous american magician David Copperfield who inspired him to learn some magic tricks and continued practicing until soon after he became a professional magician and performed a lot of his own magic tricks in his performances.

Muhammad El-Desouki

Muhammad learned beat-boxing and performed in many events at ElSawy Culture Wheel and many concerts at the British, Canadian and American Universities in Cairo, along with famous poets and singers like “Amr Hassan”, “Adham Sulaiman” and “Muhammad Ibrahim. One of his most famous performances is “ aho da elly sar” and also one named “ah ya einy ya leil” After being away from the spotlight for two years, Now he’s back on TedxZagazig’s stage again, doing what he’s always been fond of.

Omar Yehia

He grow up like any ordinary 14 years old human being for an extraordinary parents. He was so mature for his age, as many of his friends admired the way he speaks and how he always tell them scientific information. He is a geek of technology, science and innovation who developed himself specifically in the science lab of his school. He worked with himself on the first model of his device "Water Analysis Cell". He joined the academy of scientific research in Zagazig University and for that he is a star in our constellations.
