In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amedeo Lombardi

Business man and marathoner. Amedeo has succeeded in realizing his dream by becoming an integral part of a territory. Starting as a bartender, he succeeded in managing his entire pub and he founded the Home Festival, an international event among the most important music festivals in Europe bringing nearly 100,000 visitors to a provincial town in three days.

Andrea Martinuzzi

Physician Neurologist, Author of over three hundred publications in international scientific journals, Andrea Martinuzzi works on disabilities and genetic diseases, taking particular care of children with congenital or acquired neurological disorders. In addition, he is the director of the Rehabilitation Center of IRCSS (Associazione Nostra Famiglia) in Conegliano, and he is co-president of the International Disability Classification Group for the World Health Organization

Danilo Gasparini

Historian of Agriculture and food. He is the author of countless essays on the economic and social history of the Venetian countryside, and he has a profound knowledge of the peasant, artisan and proto industrial world. He teaches as a professor at several Italian universities and in many high education kitchen courses, he was the director of research at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris.

Francesca Vidotto

Researcher in Theoretical Physics. From Treviso to the University of Basque Country passing through Padua, Marseille, Grenoble and Radbound. Francesca studies quantum cosmology trying to answer the most difficult question: how was the Universe born? In addition to having published numerous scientific articles in international journals, she co-authored with Prof. Carlo Rovelli a book on quantum loop gravity, the theory that seeks to standardize quantum mechanics and general relativity.

Giacomo Mazzariol

Giacomo is a young writer. At nineteen years Mazzariol from Castelfranco Veneto moved the whole Italy with a self-produced video, furthermore by writing a book about his relationship with his brother, Giovanni, who runs through dinosaurs and has one more chromosome. Today Giacomo is involved in various projects, and among these the GenerazioneZ a blog in the Republic where he speaks of young people, always with the prospect of reality by abandoning stereotypes and clichés

Mariacristina Gribaudi

Businesswoman, marathon runner and mother of six children. After a first experience in the family business, on 2002 she became the only administrator of Keyline S.p.A., a company with six branches in the world. In 2013 she joined the Board of Directors of Unindustria Treviso and from December 2015 became President of the Civic Museums in Venice, but not only: she is also Independent Administrator of H-FARM, independent director of Crédit Agricole FriulAdria and in 2017 becomes a member of the BoD 'Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the Venice Development Agency. There is also a lack of commitment from the Advisory Board of Federmeccanica to AILM (Italian Lean Managers Association) as Vice President.

Michele Foschini

Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Bao Publishing. Michele Foschini, literary translator, comic book writer, becomes editor in 2009 and co-founder with Caterina Marietti of BAO Publishing, a publishing house that currently represents 35% of the market for the graphic novels in Italian libraries. Trevigiano of birth, now lives and works in Milan.

Silvia Marangoni

Athlete, world champion of artistic skating for eleven times. She reached the peak for the last time in Cal, Colombia. Not just a simple medal, but the eleventh in the inline category, not to mention the thirteen European titles. Silvia Marangoni is an amazing athlete who, despite the success, has never forgotten her territory and even after retiring, she continues to work to bring the values of sport into life.

Stefano Vanin

Recreate the crime scene by inspecting insects. This is the science that made Stefano famous, summoned by investigative corpses across Europe to solve complex crimes. Stefano Vanin comes from Treviso and teaches in a prestigious British university and for the Centenary he is devoting himself to a project to recover the identity of the soldiers of the Great War by analyzing the bone remains.

Valeria Zanella

Valeria Zanella is a young violinist who loves to live and experience music in all its forms. Graduated with praise at the Conservatory of Rovigo, today she attended the High Violence Improvement Academy in Chioggia, with Master Dejan Bogdanovich. She has been awarded in several national and international music competitions and has held concerts in many formations in Italy and abroad.
