Alka Sathyan

Alka Sathyan is a first-year Electronic Engineer from the University of Surrey. She has a passion for the subjects of mathematics, physics and literature.

Andre John

Drawing on examples linked to student life, from being a physics undergraduate to being the founder of TEDxSurreyUniversity as well as the Economics and Finance society, and from lessons learned in business including launching his start-up app and company, Andre delivers a strong message on personal growth and the importance of failure.

Sascha Brumm

Sascha Brumm was born and raised in a conservative and "car-driven" Munich, Germany. He is half-German half-Russian and his travels around the world as sparked a passion for understanding people's behaviour and culture. Sascha has a Bachelor in Psychology from Würzburg and has studied politics and business in Kyoto (Japan) for 6 months. He also worked in management consulting, tech startup and drug rehabilitation. He has now chosen to do a Masters in Environmental Psychology at the University of Surrey to understand how we can create sustainable environments and societies.
