Thanks to the unique richness of a special kind of singing (canto a tenore); the future possibility of becoming the center of harbours of Mediterranean Sea as the center of import/export goods and the island of elixir of long life.

Ali Ghezell

Applied Math Researcher Assistant
Ali Ghezelsoflu, Research Assistant at Centro Ricerche Modelli di Mobilità at the University of Cagliari. He studied Applied Math at the University of Teheran. Since he came in Italy he had developed an original algorithm for implementing and developing the maritime traffic.

Raffaele Sestu

Doctor
Raffaele Sestu was was born in Arzana, a little town in the middle of Sardinia, known as "the town of centenarians". Graduated in Medical science, specialised in Nephrology and Rheumatology, he carries out his profession in his own town. Since 1996, he is the Regional Director of little town's Associations (Pro Loco) and since 1990 is the Director of Arzana's Pro loco.

Sebastiano Pilosu

Professor of Ethnomusicology at the Music Conservatoire of Cagliari
Born in Torpè, Professor of Chemistry at the school, lover and singer of Canto a tenore; he founded the chorus “Tenore Selema de Torpè”, whith whom he exibeted in many events. Author whith Efisio Pau of a collection of poems of his born city: "Cantadores de Torpè: antologia de poetes torpinos dae su 1837 a su 2000" published on 2000 by Edizioni Solinas.
