TEDxISPP 2017 is our third annual TEDx event. We invite students from schools in Cambodia to speak in our event and inspire others. We have had talks in the past about science, the environment, time travel, communities, education and much more. We are looking forward to the talks that will emerge for TEDxISPP 2017 - creating a hopeful future.

Alexus is a student at CIS in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Angela Wei

Angela Wei is a student at ISPP. She is Chinese-American and has lived in both USA and Cambodia. Angela enjoys journaling, design, music and robotics. Her passion is robotics and she wishes to involve robotics to a greater extent in Cambodia.

Angely Rose is a student at Liger Learning Academy.

Chimean Hav

Chimean is a student at the Liger Leadership Academy. She is 15 years old and from Banteay Meanchey province. She is an energetic girl who loves everything around her, especially nature, and she is speaking about the importance of seven generation sustainability.

Dalin Sao

Dalin is a student at Liger Leadership Academy speaking about LGBTQ+ rights.

David Moons

David is a student at ISPP. He strongly believes in increasing awareness about road safety in Phnom Penh in order to bring about a hopeful and secure future in Cambodia.

Dilay Appelt

Dilay is a student at the International School of Phnom Penh.

Khav Thy

Khav is a student at Cambodian Children's Fund (CCF). Her area of passion is studying the role of the youth in community service in Cambodia and she wishes to increase awareness about this topic.

Miangaly is a student at CIA FIRST. Determination and a willingness to do great things are some qualities she greatly appreciates. Also, she is a believer, in not just everyone, but herself as well.

Nhem Thayheng

ITC Programming
Thayheng studies at ITC in Programming. His focus is on Cambodian youth and how they can help create a better future owing to their responsibility and independence as well as advice from others.

Outdomchakriya Soth

Outdomchakriya Soth is a student at CIA in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Riya Soth

Riya is a student at CIA and is speaking about the importance of failure.

Saosuo Visal

Saosuo is a student at Liger Leadership Academy. He is interested in programming and hardware technology. He wants to increase awareness about the usefulness of hardware in Cambodian technological advancements.

Sithongnarak Yim

Narak studies at the Liger Leadership Academy. He is very passionate about technology, especially coding. Narak strongly believes that by connecting Cambodian youth to technology, a hopeful future can be fostered and thus hopes to increase awareness about the benefits of technology.

Sopheak Thy

Sopheak is a student at the Liger Leadership Academy. She is involved in Model UN and her passion lies in learning about world peace. She is very committed to increasing awareness about the preservation of minority cultures and refugees worldwide.

WooJae Chung

WooJae is a student at ISPP. He is very interested in technology and biomedical sciences and believes that this can be very useful in making a better future in Cambodia.
