Theme: The Circles

The Circles. We can find them everywhere around us. From everlasting, they are being part of our world. They are universally comprehensible for all cultures, define and symbolize the perfection, the cycle of life and death, the universe, unity and order.

Cirle appeares in the prehistorical cave paintings, in the Buddhist mandalas, even in the modern science disciplines. Families, friendship, society, they are defined by the circle. Wedding ring presents unity of the family circle.

We negotiate at the round table, we compete in the Olympic games under the flag with connected circles. Even our lifes might spin in the circle.

Thanks to the phenomenon of the circle we have defined ourselves, our society, our civilisation. How do we perceive its symbolism nowadays? Is it still important to us? It is so, how we are going to see it in the future?
