TEDxTheOrchidSchool

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Parag Mankeekar

Parag Mankeekar is a Social-tech Entrepreneur and Founder of Neeti Solutions, an information technology company using gamification and other immersive tools to bring a changemaking user experience. He has worked extensively in health, medicine, HIV/AIDS, livelihoods and social challenges such as disaster management and emergency response. He was core group member of designing, developing three multi-disciplinary hospitals and couple of social enterprises. He has also worked in researching and understanding terrorism both in India and Afghanistan. He is currently leading the scaling up of ``RealLives``- a social/serious simulation game, ranking in top five in global ranking out of 1200 simulation games. The cloud RealLives model is designed to add value by disrupting STEM model of education.
