Alex Kariuki

Passionate about science and history. He is all rounded, intelligent with a keen interest in geopolitics. He lives for ideas and has a penchant for intellectually stimulating conversations. He loves to stay updated on world events and is a fearless critic of corruption. Alex is only 12year old

Amunga Eshuchi

A documentary photographer, a mentor and family man. Amunga uses photography to tell stories and share ideas encompassing wildlife conservation and humanitarian. Amunga is an award winning Africa and overall Commonwealth Photographer of the Year. Currently he serves as a judge in the "Tree of Sweden" competition and is The Nature Conservancy brand ambassador for the "What's your Nature?" photo competition 2017. Amunga’s work has been exhibited in Art Paris, Art Dubai, Santa Monica, California and the African Art Fair in London.

Charles Murito

A charming and a highly dynamic Techie, Charles Murito believes in passion, perseverance, humility and hard work as key aspects to his Success. Charles Murito is the Country Manager for Google, Kenya. He joined Google from his role as Acting MD & Chief Commercial Officer, Programming at Wananchi Group (Zuku) and previously held positions as Director, Business Development & Strategy, Middle East & Africa for Turner Broadcasting Ltd. Charles Murito is quite communicative and a highly intelligent and authentic speaker.

Derek Bbanga

An entrepreneur and Managing Director of Public Image, Derek works with organizations and professionals on improving the necessary soft skills, people branding, communication skills, and image which are crucial ingredients for success today. Derek has a political science degree from Connecticut in the U.S and studied for an MBA at the Helsinki School of Economics. He is a graduate of the Strathmore University Enterprise Development Centre and is certified in Image and Etiquette from the prestigious Colour works International in South Africa. He has had over 12 years working in the corporate world in finance and communications. Derek is also a keynote speaker at conferences, launches and sales meetings. He is known for his ability to connect with and capture an audience and has also emceed and moderated many events both local and international. Derek is involved as an ambassador with the Pan African Advocacy group Africa 2.0 and is also a fitness and nutrition trainer.

Dr. Nyachira Muthiga

Nyachira is an engaging conversation starter, agile communicator, and passionate medical doctor who participates in shaping the health policy, management, and services delivery dialogue both in the private and public sector, in Kenya and the East African region. She actively partakes in leadership programs facilitated by local and regional organizations including Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union. Nyachira has recently been taken up as the host of a story-telling platform called “Own Your Story”; as well as delivering keynote addresses on maternal health and various types of cancers.

John Allan Namu

John lives to tell “untold investigative stories “that give his audience novel ideas, enhance their knowledge and better still have their jaws dropped. A winner of CNN MultiChoice African Journalist of the Year (2009), John admits that his profound passion in telling stories was birthed by his desire to participate in making injustice “things” just, thus the inspiration to bring out the truth to the public John is the CEO/Editorial Director of Africa Uncensored which brings together Kenya's best Investigative Journalists.

Njeri Mucheru

A prolific writer and blogger on the virtues that guide men and women in leading a successful life Njeri Mucheru is as an advocate of leadership in the family. Njeri has the personality and skill to change people’s lives thus she started a non-profit organization, Mary’s Manger which offers shelter for abused women, gives free temporary housing, free food and free counseling. Njeri Mucheru is the Founder of Mucheru-Oyatta & Associates. Previously, Njeri was the managing partner of Gadhia & Mucheru Company Advocates.

Oltesh Thobias

Oltesh a Toastmasters and a John Maxwell coach, and speaker, has a passion in sharing knowledge and ideas through public speaking. For over 20 years Oltesh has been sharing knowledge, ideas, coaching, motivating, inspiring others and giving a helping hand to many including young graduates, disadvantaged communities, students corporate organizations and other leadership and professional groups. Oltesh works for the African Development Bank as the Chief Regional Procurement Officer. He has previously worked for the Bank of Tanzania and the E.A Community.

Raniah Oyatta

Raniah is a young and brilliant mind. She likes reading, sports and fashion. She is 11 years old.

Rozy Rana

Rozy Rana is the Managing Director of Dormans Coffee Ltd, the largest coffee Roaster and Purveyor in East Africa. She has had a successful corporate career spanning in excess of 20 years. Rozy is a member of Toastmasters International, a worldwide organization devoted to the development of Public Speaking and Leadership Skills. In 2010, Rozy emerged the winner of the Toastmasters International Taped Speech Contest. This inspired her to write her book, “12 Lessons from a World Champion”. She recently attained recognition as a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). Rozy set up a consultancy, Frankly Speaking Limited to help empower individuals through facilitating training in various topics extending from Public speaking, Presentations Skills, Customer Service, Marketing and Leadership. She is a columnist for Marketing Africa and writes articles on these topics.

Wangari Muikia

Wangari is a woman with many hats. She is a mother, wife, business owner, entrepreneur, economist and consultant who is passionate about devolution in Kenya shares her views on current affairs in the KTN News channel. Wangari is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Expertise Global. She specializes in providing advisory services in fiscal decentralization policy and implementation. Wangari is the founder of Screen on the Green, an event that showcases African film.
