Sajida Bella

My name is Sajida Bella, and I am a 15 yr old student in St Christopher's School of Bahrain. I was born and raised in Ireland until the age of 6, then I temporarily moved to my home country, Sudan. From there I moved to Saudi for 6 years and am currently living in Bahrain. Due to my multiple visits to Sudan per year, I decided to make use of one of my most recent ones and do some community service. The fact that there were so many that were being helped by these charities, through social media, was a real eye opener for me. Social media is something I have been fortunate enough to have access to on a daily basis, and to see its effects on a country where it's a bit more scarce (due to the penetration of it and costs of Internet) was really interesting to see and was what urged me to share my experience.
