In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Band

Pyramidz band is already 3 years old and is engaged in creating and performing electronic music. During this period the band succeeded in recording an album, shooting 3 clips and haveing concerts in New York, Gyumri and Yerevan. Using new technologies Pyramidz aims to develop electronic music in Armenia.

Allen Tigranyan

student
Allen is from Hatsik village of Armavir. He does not like when people try to convince him that they are right, when they have wrong information. Strangely, Allen is lazy, but manages to reach all his goals. He is so lazy that he does not even mention, what is the greatest achievement of his life.

Ani Barkhudaryan

student
Ani is from Ijevan and studies in Ijevan college. She has a collection of napkin samples, as well as collection of coins and clay puppets. The most interesting of her collection is the paintings she painted herself. She likes to read books and write notes, comments, reviews in her notebook. She is proud that she was able to touch hearts of her Armenian language and other teachers with an essay about her mother.

Anna Torosyan

Anna is from Ttujur village, Gegharkunik region and she studies in secondary school. She likes to compose and draw and hates when she gets 8 in school. She writes poems and also is interested in math. She is a winner of the "Kangaroo" contest.

Artashes Khachatryan

Artashes is from village Mets Masrik of Gegharkunik region. In people he appreciates loyalty. His interests include new generation technologies and physics. The greatest achievement for Artashes is the victory of an inter-school debate tournament.

Eric Yeghinyan

student
Eric is from Tumanyan village of Lori region. He likes to participate in activities and events. He likes to eat sweets and roasted potatoes, but he is fond of Spas. His interests include reading books,singing with his awful voice as he says, and also write scripts. He considers himself an adventurer. Being determined is one of Erik’s greatest achievement.

Gor Hakobyan

Gor is from Kapan. He likes to read books and can not stand two-faced people. Gor is very curious and mostly is interested in computers.

Inesa Zohrabyan

Inessa is from Arteni village. She plays “Ajl kerp” and “De xaxa” with a great pleasure. She likes to eat chocolate and to drink banana-strawberry juice. She does not like when people overestimate themselves and underestimate others. Inessa has an interesting collection of business cards from different people. She enjoys being busy and running from one place to another. Here are her achievements that she finds very important: 8-year excellent school grades, various prices and awards for dancing, community service done during summer school, seminars, grant programs,olympic contests. Finally, one of the best achievements,of course, becoming a speaker for TEDxKids@Yerevan2017.

Mane Mheryan

Mane is from Gyumri. She loves to travel and to sleep long.

Mariam Harutyunyan

Mariam is from Yerevan and is a great chocolate lover. She watches films with pleasure (particularly Charlie Chaplin's films). Mariam is simply in love with art. She alsa wears a hat that is an inseperabel part of her.

Martha Minasyan

student
Martha is a high school student from Sisian. She loves delicious food, humor, new acquaintances and teamwork. Her hobbies are playing volleyball, pioneerball, chess and checkers. As well, she is engaged in embroidery and tapestry-making. Martha often does such kind of jokes, which are either misunderstood or not understood at all.

Mary Balayan

Mary is from Stepanavan and is a schoolgirl of the secondary school # 2. She is fond of music, because she sings, dances, attends violin and piano lessons. Mary always read books when she has free time.

Narek Melqonyan

Narek is from Gavar. He likes sports and is interested in technology. Nick loves to make new friends, especially, when they are older than him. One of his greatest achievements is being elected as a speaker for TEDxKids @ Yerevan.

Pyramidz Band

Musical band
Tumo's only electronic music band- "Pyramidz's" members got acquainted in December of 2013. The band, which was formed during the center's musical lessons, has been creating and developing electronic music for more than 3 years. During this period Pyramidz has managed to record an album, shoot 3 music videos and give concerts in New York, Gyumri and Yerevan within the leadership of Shahen Khandkaryan, an electronic musician and trainer at Tumo. As Pyramidz is looking forward for further development, they plan to release a new album which, as they say, will be a good illustration of band's recent development. With the use of latest technologies of creating and performing live music, band's boys would love to become competitive in international market and also develop the sphere of electronic music in Armenia.

Robert Eloyan

student
Robert is a schoolboy from Yerevan. He does not like oranges and Armenian TV series. He works for an international online game creator as an official assistant for already two years. His job is to test future game updates. Robert’s biggest achievement is 32000-followers of his YouTube channel.

Ruben Ohanyan

student
Ruben is from Echmiatsin and is a student. He loves everything in and out of human consciousness. Ruben hates everything that somehow is connected with negativity.

Rubik Hovhannisyan

Student
Rubik is from Aragats village of Aragatsotn region. He attends the secondary school # 2. He likes to play football and gives a lot of questions to people. Rubik with his friends participates in many excursions. The greatest achievement for him is getting second place in karate tournament.

Rubina Avetisyan

Rubina is a schoolgirl from Aragacavan village. She is fond of reading and watching movies. She finds it really exciting to discover new people and learn lots new things. Monotonous life is not for her. Rubina does not like when people are boring and irresponsible. Even though she has already won many competitions, she believes, that the greatest achievement is still waiting for her.

Shushan Matosyan

Shushan is from Alaverdi. She likes to compose and to read. She looks deeper in every small thing to find out and learn more from those things. Sometimes she is able to make some predictions about the future. Shushan is very proud that she has many friends and acquaintances.

Sona Avagyan

Sona is from Yerevan and she studies at the Yerevan State Humanitarian College. She loves her family, friends, sweets, fruit, cartoons and colorful balloons. Sona's interests are so diverse. They mainly include music, singing and playing the guitar, piano and harmonica. She has a very bright imagination and likes to write stories. She also draws, cooks pretty well. Climbing trees and the garages is kind of a hobby for her.

Sveta Movsisyan

Sveta is a schoolgirl from Kapan. Even though she is a girl, she is interested in army life and wants to serve in Armenian army. She likes to read books and watch movies about wars. Sveta likes to participate in all community projects and programs that are organized in Kapan.

Varduhi Gabrielyan

Varduhi is from Gandzak village, Gegharkunik. She likes everything her mother cooks. She fills her free time with watching movies, reading books and drawing while listening to music. She is very fond of Armenia and is proud to be born here. This very sociable and friendly girl is interested in art and culture.

Yuliana Hovhannisyan

Yuliana is from Gyumri. She is fond of chocolate, likes strange people and to resent. What she absolutely dislikes, is to waste time on unnecessary things. She has many good friends and goes for a walk with friends very often. She is engaged in volunteer work, loves dancing, reading books. Despite her young age, Juliana was the only camper, but also a camp leader.
