Artist
An emerging illustrator and watercolorist originally from Syria. He now resides in Sweden, where he continues to engage with LGBTQ and refugee issues. The themes he depicts in his work range from the personal, being a refugee for instance, to the social minority rights, mental and social disorders, to name a few.
Senior policy and planning advisor
Amina has been a health and human rights activist. She began her career at Lund Municipality, within home care. She moved on to pursue a career in Academia which culminated into a PhD. She worked for, and in, various health, integration and women’s migrant empowerment projects. Her research has contributed to a change in the way we perceive, design and dissemination of health and societal information for diverse communities. Today, as a senior advisor to the Ministry of Health in Somalia, she uses the principles of ”need-based” and community engagement approach.
CEO
Bella Malekian is the CEO, founder, and head choreographer at “Malmö Dansakademi” in Sweden. On a weekly basis, she teaches around 15 classes and also directs three dance performance teams; Bellasitas, Obsession, and Dominators, which perform often. On occasion, she also arranges dance trips with her students to numerous parts in the world, so they can perform, learn, and get inspired. Malekian has also trained and performed with some of the best in the Latin dance industry; Eddie Torres, Griselle Ponce, Yamuleé, and Karel Flores.
Film Director & Producer
Fredrik is a filmmaker and director based in Malmö who started WG Film in 1994 together with Lars Westman. He is a former foreign correspondent and columnist and has worked for radio, television and newspapers in Africa, Latin America, Asia and around Europe. He combines filmmaking with a role as a creative producer of documentary films for television, cinema and festivals worldwide.
During 2010-2011, Fredrik has received several awards, including for his work on the film BANANAS! *: Society for Development (FIFG) price, Hoola Bandoola Bands price for Bjorn Afzelius memory Press Club award to Anna Politkovskaya’s memory, LO’s Environment and Malmö urban Cultural Prize. The film BANANAS! * Has won the Green Tenacity Award in San Francisco, Audience Award at FICA Environmental Film Festival in Brazil, the award for best feature film at EcoFilms in Greece.
Director
Hannah is the newly appointed Director of TheGoals.org - a crowdlearning tool for education on sustainable development based on the SDGs. Previously, Hannah worked in the public sector and with scout movement focusing in UN related work and violence prevention. For her efforts she received this year the Compass Rose, a scholarship awarded by HM King of Sweden to a young leader acting as a role model for value based leadership demonstrating courage, caring and willingness to take action.

A writer, speaker and Art Director with a background in behavioral science - she likes to make, shake and awake idea creation.
Ingrid is a writer, speaker and Art Director with a background in behavioural science - she likes to make, shake and awake idea creation. She has published four novels for young people in Swedish. In 2016 she decided to combine her writing for youth with her background in the advertising industry. This resulted in the book and blog ”Idésmart” - a toolbox of ideation methods for young people. In addition to her writing she does workshops in schools to boost young creativity and innovations that can create a better world.

Per Törnqvist is a professional actor, trained at Malmo Theatre
Academy/University of Lund Per has worked at Moomsteatern since 2002,
from 2012 as the artistic director.
As artistic director, Per is responsible for repertoire, artistic
development, employment for artistic staff, script writing and/or
adapting and artistic education of the actors.

Suzanne har arbetat på Moomsteatern sedan 2006 och startade då som producent och transnationell koordinator för det EU-projekt som Moomsteatern befann sig i 2005 – 2007. Sedan 2008 är Suzanne verksamhetschef på Moomsteatern.
Senior Research Scientist
William is a Senior Research Scientist at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He leads research projects focused on novel sustainable methods to control agricultural crop damage by insect pest, and has collaborated with scientists in Sweden, USA, France, Germany, Ethiopia and China. William came to Sweden in 2010 after completing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University. In addition to his own research, William is very interested in the history of science and how scientific pursuit is interconnected to the world around it.
