Angela Copeland

Angela Copeland is a Career Coach and CEO at her firm, Copeland Coaching. She is host of the Copeland Coaching Podcast, columnist for the Career Corner newspaper column, and author of career book Breaking The Rules & Getting The Job. Previously, Angela served as Vice President of Digital and eCommerce at First Tennessee Bank, Director of Digital Marketing and Strategy at ServiceMaster, and Director of Internet Marketing at the Memphis CVB. She was also part of the IT team at FedEx, and the engineering teams at Westinghouse Electric Company and General Motors. Angela earned a MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. In 2011, Angela was selected by the Memphis Business Journal as a Top 40 Under 40. She grew up tall outside of Oklahoma City, where she’s a sixth generation Oklahoman.

Dustin Miller

Dustin Miller, Ph.D. is the principal at Dublin Jerome High School. He has held positions in education, including middle school principal, high school assistant principal, and English teacher. Dr. Miller obtained his Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University. He has served as the president of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) and was on its board for many years. He has also held an appointment as the treasurer on the board of the Ohio Capital Conference Academic League. Dr. Miller teaches graduate courses at The Ohio State University and Miami University on school law, data driven decision-making, ethics, and research methods. He has presented at the University Council on Educational Administration Conference, the American Educational Research Association Conference, and the Battelle for Kids Conference. ​

Jason Cevenec

Jason earned a B.S. in Biology and M.Ed. in Secondary Science Education from The Ohio State University and began his career as a high school science teacher where he taught for more than a decade. During that time, he established two Science Olympiad teams and served as a lead instructor on an Ohio Board of Regents grant to train teachers in Modeling Instruction. In 2010, Jason took part in a Fulbright Teacher Exchange in Mumbai, India where he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by most of the world's population. Jason and his wife have a two-year-old daughter, enjoy hiking, and recently rehabilitated a 1908 house in the Franklin Park area. He serves on the Mayor's Green Team (Columbus) and volunteers with Franklin County's Restorative Justice Circles.

Jay Cardiello

Jay Cardiello is an industry-leading Health Strategist who is respected in the fitness and medical communities serving as a strength and conditioning coach to both professional athletes in the MLB and NFL and celebrities including Sophia Vegara, Jennifer Lopez, and Ryan Seacrest. Highlights of Jay's long and impressive resume include being named the #1 Motivator in Health and Wellness by Shape in 2013. He was ranked by Greatist.com along with Michelle Obama and Dr. Oz on a list of those who have made an impact on health and wellness worldwide. Jay is the author of Cardio Core 4x4, co-star of the ABC television show "My Diet is Better than Yours," founder of JCORE, co-founder of the "Off the Scale" intervention program and creator of the "Jay Cardiello No Diet Plan." Jay serves as a member of the Advisory Board for Dr. Oz's ShareCare and is a Committee Board Member to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He lives in NYC with his son.

Jen Schwanke

Jen (Moorefield) Schwanke is a lifelong Ohioan, with the exception of time spent traveling and working everywhere from Maine to San Francisco to Germany— and back again. An undergraduate of Allegheny College, she didn't consider career in education until her mid-twenties, when her passion for reading and writing led to a career teaching English and further degrees from the University of Akron and Ashland University. She has worked as a teacher and school administrator ever since. She is a passionate advocate for public education, for teachers, for students, for administrators, and for finding one's own unique path. She is currently a principal for the Dublin City Schools. She and her husband, Jay, an athletic administrator, are the proud parents to daughter Autumn and son Jack. She is a graduate instructor in educational leadership and has written frequently for literacy and educational publications. She is the author of the ASCD book, You're the Principal: Now What? Strategies and Solutions for New School Leaders.

Josue Joya-Rodriguez

Josue Joya-Rodriguez was born in San Jose, California to Mexican-Immigrant parents and maintains a personal connection to his childhood cities of Chicago and Columbus. He is a senior at Thomas Worthington High School and has spent 4 years on the school's soccer team, as well as being a member of the Thomas Worthington Gentlemen’s Leadership Academy. Josue has found a passion for social justice and racial equality. He plans to continue with this focus as he goes on to be a first generation college student.

Leah Kinzer

Leah Kinzer was born and raised in Ohio and is a current junior at Thomas Worthington High School. She is in the French Club and Community Service club, and is an active participant in student government and on the In The Know Team. Earlier this year, She began mentoring in the Girl Talk Program, where several high school girls go to the middle school once a week to talk about issues like self-confidence and stress. Recently, she wrote a letter to the editor about the importance of empathy and its current scarcity, and it was published in the Columbus Dispatch on January 6, 2017.

Steve Dickman

Steve Dickman has been an Intervention Specialist for Dublin City Schools for the past five years. He is devoted to creating a stress free learning environment for students so they can overcome significant challenges. He has also worked as an Instructional Paraprofessional for seven years with Dublin City Schools. He has a Master’s in School Leadership from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University, majoring in Human Development & Family Science. Steve was born and raised in rural Northwest Ohio and is a Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served on the nuclear fast attack submarine U.S.S. Toledo. He is a resident of the city of Dublin and lives there with his lovely wife Amanda, daughter Emma, son Owen, and a very lovable lab Sawyer. Steve enjoys running and uses running as a way to do philanthropic work. His goal is to simply create feelings of hope for families that need it.
