Harry Brown

Dr. Brown joined Renaissance College in 2009. He brings to the community over 25 years of service to education in several capacities, including IB teacher, DP coordinator, principal and deputy superintendent. He was born and raised in New York City, but spent most of his career in Tampa Bay, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, hiking, running and swimming. He have educational credentials of BA, MSc, EdD in Psychology.

Laurel Chor

At just 22 years old, she packed her bags and moved to the Central African Republic for one year to work on gorilla conservation as a National Geographic Young Explorer. At 23, she worked on a documentary about the illegal ivory trade in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she posed as a buyer and filmed an ivory market before having to be evacuated due to civil unrest. And, deservingly, in 2013, British primatologist and all-round ecological heroine Jane Goodall appointed her as an ambassador for the Hong Kong branch of her eponymous institute. That same year, Laurel decided to launch to the Hong Kong Explorers Initiative with the aim of creating an online database of Hong Kong’s plants and animals through crowdsourcing. In 2016, Laurel was recognised as one of Hong Kong’s Women of Hope.

Mukesh Bubna

Co-founder of Monaco, a peer-to-peer (P2P) leading platform in Hong Kong. He enters the space with 20 years experience in consumer banking throughout Asia, including 18 years at Citibank in Asia where he spent 10 years in product and marketing, Prior to that he was CFO, and going back even further, he built Citibank’s entire back-end operations and technology.

Rosa Maria Velasco

Rosa Maria Velasco graduated from the School of Drama at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) degree. She joined the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre as a full-time actress in 2007, during which she was nominated at the 19th Hong Kong Drama Awards for Best Actress award with Stan Lai’s “Writing in Water”. She won the Best Supporting Actress award with "The Mixed Doubles" and Best Actress (Comedy/Farce) award with "Black Monday" at the 23rd and 24th Hong Kong Drama Awards respectively. She also won the Arts Development Council Young Artist Award (Drama) in 2014.

Steffi Lopez Gonzalez

Steffi is a certified NLP Life Coach Yoga Teacher and Speaker. She graduated cum laude from San Pablo CEU Madrid University with a degree in Communications Science. With over 10 years of experience in the international Media Business as a TV Host and Editor in The Netherlands, Spain and South America. It was in 2010 that the shift occurred. She did the life coaching education in Miami, USA and started Your Life Your Playground.
