So many situations and issues around us in the everyday world that need a makeover, so many patterns and molds that have been around for ages and have to be broken, so many old and irrelevant mindsets and cultures for which extinction is overdue. If we want to bring about a phenomenal change to the status quo, we should start questioning the ‘paradigms’. This is the sort of change that is disruptive!

Akila Gopalakrishnan

Poet
G.Akila juggles her muse with work, home, and a seven-year-old daughter. She dabbles in free verse and the Japanese genre of poetry in English language consisting of haiku, tanka and haibun. She was also one of the speakers at the Goa Arts and Literature Festival 2016. Currently, she is deciphering contours of a dream in her first manuscript of poetry.

Anuradha Naik

Conservation Architect & Architectural Historian
Anuradha Naik is a conservation architect. She has done her BArch and MArch with a commendation at Edinburgh College of Art. She has been appointed to the Technical Committee, Department of Archaeology and Museums, Govt. of Telangana. Her projects included the British Houses of Parliament, the Palace of Westminster, London, National Trust, The Old Vicarage, The Choir House, Canterbury Cathedral Precincts and the Tower House.

Carolyn Theresa

Food Blogger
From a very young age, she has always had a special inclination towards food and cooking. She loves traveling, photography and reading anything under the sun. Her current favorite cuisine being Japanese and Lebanese. Before anything goes into her mouth, it always and I mean always has to pass through her camera. Her other passion being yoga, she recently acquired the title of a registered yoga instructor.

Jawwad Patel

Founder
Jawwad Patel is a 22-year-old engineering student from Hyderabad who is also the founder of Jawwad Patel labs. While most of us were playing with legos and hot wheels, he was already tinkering with circuits boards and PCBs and since then, he made more than 2000 innovations till date. He also holds several patents for his innovation and has recently been nominated for Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Excellence Award (2016) and The National youth award(Govt. of India).

Mohana Krishna Indraganti

Film director & Screen writer
Mohana Krishna Indraganti is an Indian film director known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. His debut directorial venture Grahanam (2005) fetched him eleven awards including the National Film Award for Best First Film of a Director, the Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director and the Gollapudi Srinivas Award for Best First Film of a Director. The film was also showcased in the Indian panorama section of the 2005 International Film Festival of India. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from York University.

Prashant Dhawan

Co-Founder of BiomimicryIndia & head of Biomimicry lab
Prashant Dhawan is the face who has brought about a commendable change in the field of Biomimicry in India. He is the co-founder of Biomimicry India Network. He holds his MS degree in Biomimicry from Arizona State University, USA and was awarded Biomimicry Professional Certification by Biomimicry 3.8, USA. He completed his graduation in architecture from Delhi SPA and MBA from ISB Hyderabad.

Sagarika Melkote

Vice-President, Hyderabad Runners
The running bug bit her sometime in 2012, which she attributes to her love for the outdoors. Since then, she’s run two full marathons and sixteen half marathons, in India and abroad. She is currently serving as Vice President of Hyderabad Runners – which is a completely volunteer driven society, with the aim of making "running the most preferred form of fitness activity" and the organizers of the annual Hyderabad Marathon.

Saima Afreen

Calcutta is where she grew up, smelling shiuli flowers and chewing different syllables. To breathe she churns poems; to earn a living she works as a journalist in Features department of The New Indian Express Hyderabad. For Express publications she recently reviewed Tabish Khair’s latest book ‘Jihadi Jane’; she has reviewed Jameela Nishat’s poetry collection ‘Butterfly Caresses’, Zafar Anjum’s ‘Kafka in Ayodhya’, and ‘The Lost Generation’ by Nidhi Dugar Kundalia. She’s working on book reviews of several other authors and poets.

Sangeeta Isvaran

Sangeeta has inherited Bharathanatyam [classical dance/Theatre form from Tamilnadu, India] practice from the pioneering maestro, Padmabhushan Kalanidhi Narayan and Smt. Savitri Jagannatha rao. She has researched into many performing and visual art traditions across the world, creating her unique Katradi technique of empathy based social transformations. For this, she was honored with the highest national award for young dancers, the 'Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar'. She is an empanelled dancer for the Indian council for cultural relations with a mandate for cultural diplomacy.
