Chris Robinson
Fisheries biologist
Chris Robinson is a fisheries biologist with the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, and is their coordinator for the Lake Ontario Atlantic Salmon Restoration Program (a.k.a. Bring Back the Salmon), a large, multi-organization partnership to restore this historic species to the lake. He has a B.Sc. from the University of Guelph and a M.Sc. from Trent University, where he studied muskellunge, Canada's largest freshwater sportfish. Chris worked out of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry's Glenora Fisheries Station on Lake Ontario for nine years, and since 2002 has been with the OFAH, first as a research biologist and now Atlantic Salmon program coordinator. Chris also sits on several advisory and technical committees, including the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement’s Habitat and Species Subcommittee and the Fisheries Management Zone 20 (Lake Ontario) Advisory Council.

Matthew is the co-owner and CEO of Mind-Body Fusion. Founded in 2015, Matthew has worked with various athletes to help them increase their speed, explosive movements, explosive strength, strength endurance, endurance, and injury rehabilitation. As an ex-professional soccer player and business owner Matthew has had the privilege to learn, and be mentored, in the topic of mental toughness and what it takes mentally to become successful. This has allowed him to develop many of his own techniques and teachings about how to help his clients get into their Ultimate Performance Zone, allowing them to conquer and handle anything in their path on their way to success. Matthew is now a teacher, and preacher, of the Zone and is able to have his clients find their Zone at will as well as the triggers to get them into it. Matthew personally helps people reach whatever level of success they desire through mental and physical training.
Nisha Bedi

Mrs. Nisha Bedi has been teaching for 11 years. Currently she is teaching grade 8 with Science on rotary in a school in Pickering. She has taught throughout Durham Region for her entire career. She is a Durham Region native and was born in Ajax, where she spent all her elementary and high school years. Nisha always knew that she wanted to be a part of an organization that deals with helping children in some capacity. Teaching was the correct and only path for her. She is very vested in her cultural background and thus has taken an interest in Equity initiatives within her school community. Nisha also has a strong dedication and passion for helping and supporting those whom are differently-abled. She has worked for community living off and on for 2 years and the Ajax Youth Centre for 3 years off and on. Nisha has dedicated her life to youth since she herself was a young adult and has never looked back since.

She founded Architecture Cures in 2012, a company that helps people take control of their lives and take back their health with her Energy-Detox and Energy-Boost Environmental Solutions – integrating both her schooling in holistic Biodesign with her innovative design strategies from her master’s research in reducing Electromagnetic Pollution in a Sustainable Home Renovation of a 1909 single-family house, downtown Toronto.
